Diamond Women is a not-for-profit organisation run by a group of compassionate and caring individuals that seek to provide help and support to women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. DPS offers practical assistance in the way of baby and maternity goods, emotional and spiritual support through counselling and group classes to train and equip women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. Through a network of community service organisations we are able to connect our clients to organisations that assist in meeting their medium and long term goals. Diamond Women provides for the relief of anxiety and distress faced by women surrounding an unplanned pregnancy by meeting their immediate and long term needs. Diamond Women works with women, their partners and families to provide long term solutions in the best interest of both themselves and their unborn child. We at Diamond Women believe that every woman facing an unexpected pregnancy deserves support, respect, kindness, compassion and care.

Whether a pregnancy is planned or unplanned, many women don’t really know what to do when they see a positive test. That’s why we exist - to support women alongside their doctor, helping them understand their options and make informed decisions while walking with them the whole way. No matter your circumstances, if you’ve recently found out you’re pregnant, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

We’re so excited to share that our Thrive and Bloom event on connection and community was a huge success!

The session was designed to help expecting mums and new mums navigate this new season of their lives by assuring them with real support and a village that they can rely on every step of the way.

It’s always an honour for us to be able to sit down with our mamas and spend quality time with them. We shared stories, laughed, reflected, and built friendships that extend beyond the session.

Also, shoutout to for the beautiful handmade cookies that we were able to share with our mums! They were perfect for the celebration of this new season, thank you!!

Jessie Buckley dedicated her first Oscar to mothers by celebrating the ‘beautiful chaos of a mother’s heart’.

She turned the stage into an intimate moment by sharing her vulnerability about balancing this new season of motherhood with her demanding career.

It was a moment that really resonated with us, because it reflects what we see every day at Diamond Women. Not on a stage, but in the lives of the women who walk through our doors. Women who are trying to make sense of what’s next, who might feel scared or unsure at first, but slowly begin to realise they don’t have to go through it alone. Motherhood is layered, emotional, and sometimes messy, but also full of a kind of love and strength that can’t be put into words. And we are so privileged to be part of that, to be able to sit with women in those moments and walk alongside them.

That “beautiful chaos” she talked about? We see it every single day!

This St Patrick’s Day, we honour the women who continue to raise their children with courage, hope, and love even in uncertain circumstances. The strength and resilience of a mother can often be quiet but it’s is incredibly powerful. The seeds she plants in her children can grow far beyond what she may ever see. We see this reflected in the life of St Patrick who showed extraordinary courage and resilience despite being kidnapped and sold into slavery at just sixteen. His strength did not appear out of nowhere, it was nurtured in the home of a mother who raised him with faith and courage.

Today, we celebrate the mothers behind the stories that shape our world. We wish everyone a happy St Patrick’s Day! ☘️💛

Everyone’s pregnancy journey looks different, and we’re here for all of them. One of our young mums shared that becoming a mother at a young age made her feel like she had lost parts of her identity. Through support, encouragement, and time, she began rediscovering her confidence and finding beauty in her own journey. Wow. We made a call for donations and you showed up in such an incredible way and we are so grateful. Because of you, our shelves are filled with beautiful items that we’re able to gift to the mums and bubs who walk through our doors.

These things might seem small to some, but to the women receiving them, they make a meaningful difference. You should see the smiles on their faces when they receive these gifts, it’s really special.

We don’t just show up for women on a specific date because the calendar tells us to. We show up at 2am when you can’t sleep, at 12pm when you need someone to talk to and feel like there’s nowhere else to go, and every hour in between.

For 20 years, we have been walking alongside women through every season of life, offering support, care, and a reminder that they are not alone. And we will continue showing up for women forever.

While today is a special day to celebrate women around the world, we believe women deserve to be celebrated every single day.

Let the celebration of women continue!!

With International Women’s Day coming up, we spent this week celebrating the incredible women in our community. Our wonderful counsellers, donors, and clients came together in our office to celebrate each woman, empower her on her journey and honour the milestones she has reached. We also celebrated in a practical way too by gifting our clients fresh flowers to remind them that they are deeply valued and worth celebrating. 💐

At Diamond, celebrating women doesn’t only happy on International Women’s Fay. In fact, we’ve been celebrating women every single day for the past 20 years, and we will continue to support, uplifting, and remind each woman of her worth.

We at Diamond Women’s Support believe that every woman facing an unexpected pregnancy deserves support, respect, kindness, compassion and care. Diamond is providing an opportunity out of the current cycle of feeling that they are cornered and that there are no options left for them except to terminate their pregnancy. Lack of support and education plus continual bombardment by the media instills fear and lack of options - that an unexpected pregnancy is 'the end'. DWS runs a completely free support centre in the middle of Western Sydney (and operate throughout NSW) we are able to offer compassionate care and support to women and their families facing an unplanned pregnancy.
