Our dynamic Connect2Care duo, Jamille and Handrie, just wrapped up a super successful Professional Development session with teaching staff at a local school! We dove deep into Tier 2 student support and disability inclusion, making sure every teacher walked away with tools they could use right away.
We tackled two huge topics:
Session 1: Cracking the code on attention and executive function - the brain's command center!
Session 2: Getting hands-on with practical strategies and scaffolds that stick in the classroom.
The best part? Teachers scored a whole toolkit of fresh, evidence-based strategies blending the smarts of Occupational Therapy and Psychology! They are now ready to make an even bigger impact on their students’ learning and their own teaching magic 🪄
