Some great news, Children under the age of 9 can now access the Early Intervention Scheme having increased from the original age of 7.

From 1 July 2023, the age of children supported under the early childhood approach will progressively change, to include children younger than 9.

Hey guys, we’ve been a bit quiet lately, but that hasn’t stopped our support for our beautiful participants. Yesterday we were able to support our participant, to watch his favourite NRL team the Mighty Newcastle Knights.

We had a great day out with accessible seating, although a little chilly 🥶 but it didn’t matter when the Knights got the result for our excited participant, and myself being a tragic Knights fan.

We are looking at specialising in events at the moment whatever it maybe : Concerts, Comedy shows, Sporting events, Sydney trips/vivid, Community events, fishing charters. You name it, we will do our very best to achieve it to meet your goals.

We have some upcoming Short Term Accomodation events planned, so watch this space as we develop some fantastic packages. We also still have some limited availability during the week to offer supports for community access. Simply reach out, and Believe and Achieve!!!! 😀

RHF Community Connections recently took Greg to the Royal Easter Show. What a great day was had, from animals, cakes, motorbikes, cooking shows, and the many market stalls that were on offer. It was a great day shared with many memories made, we cannot wait til next year. If anyone is looking for community access support please get in touch, we are also looking at offering some short term stays in the near future as we continue to onboard staff. So please keep your eyes peeled on our page and please get in contact if you need any supports. 😀

Had another great day out in the community today. Took one of my participants to the Newcastle Supercars. We had an absolute ball with some of the best seats in the house. I wanna make a special mention to the great volunteers of the event, who were awesome today, with anything my participant and I needed or asked. 20/10 day we can’t wait til next year 😀👌

Greg and I had another great day out in the community. This week we visited the Shark and Ray rescue centre. What a day we had, looking at all the different types of marine life, as well as reptiles, butterflies, frogs and birds. This place does an incredible job of giving these animals a second chance at life. It was an awesome experience Greg and I enjoyed, we also called in and did a tour at the barramundi farm in bobs farm on the way home and learned so much about the process of farming barramundi.
