Maybe you resonate with my story.

Or maybe your story is different.

But what I do know to be true is, there is so much depth to you as a woman.

So much more then just being a mother
Just having the house and a successful career
Or just having a successful business.

Yesterday while my kids were playing on the school playground before school, I noticed that one of my daughter’s friends was sitting alone, quite upset.

I approached her and asked if she was okay and she shared with me that she had been bullied at before school care.

When I asked her what these kids had said to her, she expressed that during a ball game they were all playing, the other kids said she’s had too many turns..

Now, whilst I as an adult can understand that some of these other kids were just expressing their frustration about how the game was going and it wasn’t a personal attack, she had quite clearly received their words and energy in a different way, giving it a different meaning.

I gave her a hug, explained the situation in a way that she could understand and made sure she knew that I was a safe adult for her to approach if she ever needs to.

And as I was reflecting on it afterwards, I thought about all the different ways this trauma could play out for her in her adulthood.

Yes.. trauma.

You see, even though this may have seemed like a pretty ‘minor’ situation, trauma isn’t the event that occurred, it’s the effect that event has on the nervous system.

The way I explain it to clients is a trauma is when negative emotions become trapped in your body during an event and are therefore still affecting the way that you perceive or respond to certain situations today (as well as what we do or don’t attract).

In that moment, it would have been less about 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 these kids were saying to her and more about 𝐡𝐨𝐰 they were saying it.

She would have seen anger on their faces and felt anger in their tone and energy, resulting in her feeling unsafe, vulnerable and giving it meanings about her own self worth.

In a nutshell , this can be how limiting beliefs are formed.

And possible one’s that could have formed here are:

I’m not a good person
I’m not a likeable person
I am selfish
I have to put other’s wants above my own
I need to play small to protect myself
just to name a few..

It’s been a minute since I’ve posted online (and by a minute I mean months!)

For most of this year I have felt called to focus less on showing up online and more on showing up in my life.

And it’s been the most beautiful season of mothering, creating memories with my family, studying, nurturing old clients and most importantly nurturing myself 🌹

But, as I enter a new season, one where I’ll be focusing a lot more on my healing work again, I’ll be slowly finding my way back into your feeds.

I also lost my personal instagram account earlier this year so this account will now be a beautiful blend of both my life + work moving forward which feels perfectly orchestrated.

𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ♡︎

Dear sister,

I see you, standing in the space between who you were & who you are becoming. It’s a place that feels uncertain, almost like you’re hovering between two worlds, unsure of how to let go of the past & fully step into the future.

The old you feels comfortable, familiar - but it also feels like it no longer fits, like a too-tight pair of shoes you’ve outgrown. And the new you? She’s waiting, shimmering just beyond your reach, full of potential but also a little scared.

This transition can be difficult, but it is also beautiful. You are in the process of shedding old layers and making room for your truest self to emerge.

And while the space between the old & the new can feel like an uncomfortable limbo, it is the most sacred space of all - it is the cocoon before the butterfly takes flight 🦋

Know this: Letting go of the old you doesn’t mean forgetting who you were; it means honoring the woman who got you to this moment, while gently releasing the parts of her that no longer serve you.

It’s okay to not have all the answers. It’s okay to feel uncertain, unsure or even afraid. What matters is that you’re showing up for yourself, ready to honor the journey - one step at a time.

Trust that the path ahead will reveal itself as you walk it.

The truth is, you are more than capable of navigating this change. You’ve already walked through storms & emerged stronger each time. You have within you an unbreakable resilience & every shift you’re experiencing is part of a grander unfolding ✨

So, breathe deeply, my sister. Allow yourself to feel the emotions, the fears, the excitement & the vulnerability. Know that it’s all part of the process. Let go of the need to have everything mapped out & simply be present with who you are right now, in this moment.

Your new self is waiting for you. She is you - just more aligned, more confident, more authentic.

She’s ready to rise but she needs you to trust in her. You are already on the path. Take the next step with faith and with love for the journey.

You are becoming exactly who you were always meant to be.

There’s something that’s been sitting on my heart that I need to express..

Whilst it’s incredibly empowering to see that so many women are closing the book on the old ways of earning and living

And are courageously creating new paths for themselves through starting their own businesses,

There’s something I’m seeing that I need to call out.

And it’s that too many coaches/healers/business owners have fallen into the trap of focusing too much on how to grow their business instead of how to grow as a human.

Or how to manifest more customer/clients/money instead of how to live with an open heart and be in love + gratitude for where they currently are.

And it’s resulting in disappointed clients because there is now a lot of overpromising & underdelivering happening.

Because business owners are growing in their ability to market & sell themselves but have forgotten to continue growing as a human.

I want you to know that you’re not alone.

It’s so easy to be drawn to the things that we think will make us more money.
