Sometimes bravery begins with a small moment of trust 🐾
Sienna (6) was feeling scared about her injection, so she watched me go first. We then showed her photos of a Miracle Paws Therapy Dog in training also named Sienna and everything started to change.
Her fear faded into curiosity..… and before she realised, it was all over.
A gentle reminder of the power of connection, comfort and a little bit of magic from Sienna, the therapy dog Groodle puppy in training.

Easter brings a message of hope, renewal and the chance to begin again.
It’s a beautiful reminder that each of us has the ability to make a difference through compassion, understanding and the way we care for one another.

Gelu spent the day doing what he does best. Offering calm, connection and a little bit of magic in every classroom moment. From gentle pats to focused learning time, it was smiles all around as everyone soaked up those last cuddles before the Easter break.

As part of the Future XP Program, students explored the question: “What is it like to work with therapy dogs and help people?” 🐾

They experienced firsthand the real impact of animal-assisted therapy, learning how dogs like Milo support mental health, build confidence and create safe, supportive spaces in schools and beyond.

Proud to represent Miracle Paws and inspire the next generation to see that compassion can be a career!

“We all see the world through different eyes” reminds us that every person experiences life in their own unique way. Some people see the world through eyes filled with joy and excitement. Others may see it through eyes carrying worry, sadness or uncertainty. Our experiences, feelings, backgrounds and challenges shape the way we understand the world around us.
However, a therapy dog sees something special.

When a therapy dog walks into a school like Weeden Heights they don’t see labels, differences or expectations. They see kindness, curiosity, nervous hands reaching out for a gentle pat and hearts that simply want connection. One student might be laughing loudly, another might be quiet and withdrawn and another might be feeling overwhelmed by the day. To a therapy dog, each one is just a human who deserves calm, comfort and acceptance.

Tonight Chilli and Milo sat quietly and watched thousands gather.

The night was still.
The crowd was silent.
But the respect was powerful.

They came to honour Aidan Becker, a hero who lost his life protecting another.

A community standing together to remember courage.

Rest easy Aidan. You will not be forgotten. 🐾

Today, while gently patting Chilli, they spoke for the first time.
Therapy and wellbeing dogs often reach places words cannot. Awakening memories, emotions and a sense of connection. In aged care, even the smallest interaction can become a profound moment of human connection.
