Congratulations Lauren, our 2025 Team Spirit Award Winner!! 👏

Lauren started working at National 360 in 2024 as an Early Childhood Practitioner (ECP). She brings incredible team spirit to her team in Brisbane and is the cornerstone for social activities and team morale!

She consistently brings energy, motivation, and joy to the team through creative Fun Fund activities, thoughtful office initiatives, and celebrations that make everyone feel valued. In particular, her morning teas, complete with personalised decorations and often a game or two, show just how far she goes to celebrate others.

⭐ What has been Lauren’s favourite team spirit activity for her team so far?
“I’ve loved planning Fun Funds morning teas like Valentine’s Day and Speechie Week, organising small Christmas gifts…and setting up our Containers for Change program in the office, which helped fund part of our end-of-year Christmas celebration. For me, it’s always about the little things that help people feel appreciated and connected.”

CLIENT STORY ⭐ Say hello to our Early Childhood Practitioner, Lauren, and her 8yr old client, Jo!

Jo has arthrogryposis, and one of his key goals has been strengthening his hands, improving fine motor coordination, and building resilience during tasks that can feel physically tough or frustrating.
As part of his therapy, Jo and Lauren developed a “Recipe” project, where once a month they choose a new recipe to make together.

For each recipe, Jo adds a handwritten and illustrated recipe page to his personal recipe book, with each recipe including his own “Yumminess Rating” category 😊

How has this activity been supporting Jo to achieve his goals?
👉 Hand strength (whisking, squeezing, cutting, mixing, scooping, using kitchen tools)
👉 Fine motor control (gripping utensils, writing, drawing)
👉 Sequencing and planning
👉 Resilience and problem-solving when tasks feel challenging
👉 Confidence and pride in completing something meaningful

⭐What does Jo have to say about his sessions with Lauren?
“These cooking and baking sessions have been really fun, as well as crafting. I really like them and they help with my hands a lot. As well as my taste buds! I would really like to keep doing it with Lauren more…”

Congratulations to Olivia, our 2025 Regional & Remote Clinical Excellence Award Winner!! 👏👏

Olivia joined our Townsville QLD team in 2024 as a new-entry Behaviour Support Practitioner and developed into a wonderfully knowledgeable, experienced, confident PBS Practitioner. She supports children and adults locally in Townsville, as well as clients across regional and remote areas.

Why does Olivia enjoy regional and remote work? 👇

“Working in regional and remote settings has really shown me how important flexibility and creativity are in Behaviour Support. While it can be challenging at times, it’s incredibly rewarding to be able to provide consistent, high-quality support in communities where access to services is limited. I also really enjoy being able to support and mentor other clinicians working remotely, especially those who are early in their careers.”
