Happy Perioperative Nurses Week!

Join us in celebrating our amazing perioperative nurses at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside, as we honour the vital contributions they make to the world of healthcare.

Our perioperative nurses provide patient care before, during and after surgical procedures and create a smooth and supportive surgical experience. They are dedicated to delivering better and fairer care to our patients, always, and are irreplaceable.

The theme for Perioperative Nurses Week 2025 is S.T.A.R.S*:
Scrub/Scout – celebrate your scrub/scout nurses
Technicians – recognise the work of your operating theatre and sterilising technicians
Anaesthetics – appreciate your anaesthetic nurses
Recovery – shine a light on your PACU nurses
Support – appreciate all your support staff

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to our perioperative nursing team. Your expertise and commitment have a major impact on the lives of many. You make what we do possible.
