Our Easter twilight celebration in the Memory Support Unit was filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful moments 🌅🐣

Residents and staff came together for a delightful Easter spoon race, bringing out smiles, friendly competition, and plenty of encouragement all around. The atmosphere was lighthearted and engaging, with everyone cheering each other on every step of the way.

As the sun began to set, the space came alive with music, creating a warm and uplifting environment. Familiar tunes sparked memories, with residents singing along, tapping their feet, and sharing special moments with one another.

Events like these remind us of the power of connection, joy, and creating meaningful experiences together. It was truly a beautiful way to celebrate Easter 💛✨

Dear Staff, Families and Friends,

We wish to inform you that Abel Tasman Village has received a formal notice from Canterbury‑Bankstown Council advising of scheduled asphalt road rehabilitation and associated works on Waldron Road, Chester Hill.

The works will take place on Waldron Road (between Miller Road and Campbell Hill Road) commencing Monday, 30 March 2026. According to the notice provided by the council, construction is scheduled to occur between 7:00am and 5:00pm and is expected to last approximately one week.

During this time, sections of the road will be closed and detours will be in place. Access will be permitted for residents, deliveries and emergency vehicles only. Street parking will be restricted along the work zone during working hours, and traffic flow is expected to return to normal at the end of each working day.

To minimise disruption and ensure the safety of residents, visitors, and staff, Abel Tasman Village has contacted the Project Manager, Mr Phillip Williams, to obtain further information and clarification regarding the traffic management arrangements.

This includes confirming safe access in and out of the facility, parking arrangements, and understanding the staging of works throughout the project. We are working closely with the contractor to ensure safe access is maintained at all times and that the impact on resident care, visitation, and service delivery is kept to a minimum.

Staff and Visitors are kindly advised to allow extra travel time during the works period, follow all detour signage and directions from traffic controllers, and be aware that alternative parking arrangements may be required during working hours.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates should additional information become available. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this period.

If you have any questions or concerns, to contact Phillip on (02) 9759 1642 or admin@dmasphalting.com.au.

Kind regards,

Management
