Ever had a flat day? A day you’re feeling a bit sluggish, like things are too hard, maybe just a bit stressed or anxious? I know I have. Then someone comes along, and says something nice to you, which can change the way you feel about yourself or about your day. It might be about your hair, your outfit, your smile or something you have done well.

I’m a big believer on giving compliments. If I notice something lovely about someone, I tell them. If someone has done something well, I commend them.

Saying kind words to people is not difficult. It takes a few moments out of your time, and can have a huge impact on someone’s day.

If you appreciate someone, tell them. If you love them, tell them. If they are a wonderful human being, tell them. If you enjoy their company, tell them.

Kindness is free, so spread it around like confetti 🫶

Happy New Year! Most people make some kind of ‘resolutions’: which are goals that we set, in order to leave old habits behind and redetermine how we want things to go moving forward.

One of your goals should be to take care of your best, most valuable asset — YOU 🫵

🫶Prioritise ‘Me’ Time- take some quiet time to recharge and relax 😌

🩷Fill your own cup- do things that are fun, makes you feel energised and reignites your passion and excitement 🙌

🫶Be grateful for what you have in the moment, where you are in life and who you are right now 👏🏻

🩷Have a Massage 😉 Massages are effective in managing stress-related cortisol levels while boosting your serotonin, empowering individuals to regulate feelings of anxiety or sadness 💆🏼‍♀️

🫶 Have a Reiki Healing- start working on letting go of all of that stress, worry, frustration or anger! Constantly feeling these things can lead to less than desirable long-term effects on your holistic health and can impact the body in more ways than just one — it can induce headaches, anxiety, digestion problems and high blood pressure, among other drawbacks.

🩷Positive Self Talk- The way you choose to think and speak about yourself (to yourself and others) is a choice! Who you are inside is what helps you make and do everything in life. Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love 🫶
