AJHolistic is dedicated to using a holistic person centered, strengths based approach, which in return encourages individuals to develop maintain and structure skills and strategies that work best for them. Amanda lives in the southern suburbs of Adelaide and has been working within the disability sector for close to 13 years. In this time Amanda has gained skills and knowledge in a variety of roles including, Service Delivery Manager for a small core support provider, Support Coordinator/Case Manager for Disability SA, Developmental Educator and Senior Developmental Educator for non-government organisations as well as working as a support worker prior to obtaining her degree. Using her skills Amanda demonstrates that she is passionate about supporting individuals and their supporting networks in the community to achieve goals whist developing and strengthening independence in homes and community settings. Amanda has experience with a wide range of ages and various disabilities and will be offering a variety of services within metro Adelaide, Southern Adelaide and Southern Fleurieu areas.

A huge congratulations to our ex-student turned Therapy Assistant/soon to be Developmental Educator Rachel on winning the Student Award at this years DEAI - Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated awards night. Rachel produced ‘The Connect Project’ within her placement and has been active in delivering the program this year.

Crongratulations also in order for Kyle and Chloe who were nominated for the ‘early career’ award.

Today we were super excited to have a special guest of honour in the office. Later this month one of our beautiful clients Fay will be turning 70 and for the past year all she has wanted was a pizza party at the office... So happy 70th Birthday Fay. So were officially back from our Christmas break!

Last week we came together to talk about all the exciting adventures that AJHolistic Allied Health will be offering in 2023, so to get us all in the creative mood we had a visit from a new AJH family puppy Rufus! - we're pretty sure you will all agree that his little face was quite the distraction!
