HULC has 13 clinics across Perth & the Southwest. Southwest clinics in Bunbury, Margaret River and Vasse.

Our Metro clinics are located in Claremont, Joondalup, Murdoch, Subiaco, Rockingham, South Perth, Edgewater, Cockburn, Midland, and Osborne Park. With over 150 years combined experience in the specialist area of hand therapy, the HULC team has been delivering world-class occupational therapy and physiotherapy services in Western Australia since 2004. Our therapists have extensive experience working with many different patients, from professional and recreational athletes, complex worker compensation cases, patients injured in industrial and motor vehicle accidents, general rehabilitation to aged care patients.

Meet Shahd! 👋 With a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Occupational Therapy, she began her journey at HULC as an Allied Health Assistant and Researcher before stepping into her current role as a therapist earlier this year.

Shahd is passionate about supporting patients on their journey to independence 💪 You’ll find her working across both our Bethesda and Subiaco clinics.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys staying active at the gym and spending time with her loved ones 🏋️‍♀️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

We’re thrilled to recognise Karen, one of our admin extraordinaires, as our Team Member of the Month for September.
Karen is well known for her friendly, happy, and helpful nature. She’s always willing to step in and support anyone—whether it’s our patients, surgeons, hand therapists, or her fellow admin teammates. Her positive attitude and team spirit make a real difference every day.
Karen particularly enjoys data-specific admin tasks and brings a high level of attention to detail to everything she does. Her contributions are invaluable, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our greater HULC team.

On Friday 19th September, our team gathered at Besk in Leederville to celebrate our wonderful Business Manager, Anita Bourton, and her remarkable 17 years of service with the Hand and Upper Limb Centre.
Anita has made an outstanding contribution to HULC over nearly two decades. As she concludes this chapter, we are delighted to share that she will be stepping into the role of General Manager at Raise Your Hands, our health promotion and research charity, beginning in October.
We sincerely thank Anita for her dedication, leadership, and impact, and we look forward to seeing the difference she will continue to make in this exciting new role.

What a fantastic day at the Workcover WA Work Conference 2025! The event brought together healthcare leaders, rehab professionals, and industry experts, all focused on improving outcomes for injured workers across Western Australia.
Representing the Hand and Upper Limb Centre and Wrist + Hand Institute Perth, we were proud to be part of the conversations around innovation in hand and upper limb injury management and collaborative care.
A special shoutout to our incredible Senior Therapist Heather Scott, whose passion for patient care and clinical excellence was evident throughout the day — and to our General Manager Courtney Andrijich, whose leadership continues to drive HULC and Wrist + Hand Institute Perth forward.
