Ingenuity Through Philosophy-Conceptualise, Organise, Realise, Enjoy I teach and provide experience of the processes of creativity through teaching philosophy as concept architecture-Conceptualise, Organise, Realise, Enjoy

INGENUITY THROUGH PHILOSOPHY is NOT about Ivory Tower philosophy. It is about constructing solutions to problems we don't have the answers to. Or it can be about constructing new and better solutions to those problems. For instance the steam engine was a solution to the problem of getting to places in less time with trains. In some ways the car and then the aeroplane were better solutions. Anytime we solve a problem that no one knows the solution to, we have engaged in creative philosophical processes (which can be thoughts or actions), whether we realise it or not. Even if someone else does know the solution, we can still claim the same solution as an original one if we have genuinely arrived at that solution through our own philosophical ingenuity. In actual fact, this happens all the time, and is why we are all natural philosophers to varying degrees without knowing it. Ingenuity through philosophy is about making a person more conscious and in control of these processes. The scientific method is the exemplar par excellence of what the thousands of years of natural philosophy were able to spin out only 200 years ago, when psychology also started to split off from philosophy. As such, the scientific method and psychology are only a part of philosophical method. Enquiries can be made through facebook or through my website below. Richard Krista

Why is the world always in such a mess?

Because we humans in general do not really understand how we are able to do the things we do in everyday life. We just take things for granted until the car breaks down and we don’t even know why. We are able to just copy what has been given to us by those who sought knowledge for the sake of it. Who were those incredible knowledge seekers? They were Chinese philosophers like Confucius. They were Greek philosophers like Plato and Aristotle. They were great natural philosophers like Leonardo Da Vinci and Newton. They were modern day geniuses like Edison and Einstein and Marie Curie.

And so America the land of the free, is able to boast that they were the first to fly to the moon and back. They can boast that they were able to end Japan’s attempt to conquer the world, with two atom bombs, compliments of the work of the genius philosopher/scientist Albert Einstein.

Both individuals and countries stand on the shoulders of giants. They stand on the shoulders of the few geniuses who pursued knowledge for the sake of it, because of insatiable curiosity. The world in general just copies them and takes them for granted. The reason we are in such a mess is because both countries and individuals have not been through the trials and tribulations that the great geniuses went through to ask and solve the critical questions that revealed the mysteries of the universe so we could live our lives in greater comfort.

The world is in such a mess because it simply tries to copy the formulas given by geniuses, without really understanding how the formulas were produced.

Shaping out future for the better: It is far too easy to take current events for granted because we are so busy being caught up in creating our own safe-feeling little worlds. Remember that current events are history in the making. On the one hand we have the outgoing ‘democratic’ presidency of the US provoking Russia into nuclear warfare. On the other hand (on the same day) we have ELON MUSK, (a synthesis of philosopher and engineer inventor, of Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison), successfully launching and landing SpaceX STARSHIP for the sixth time on 19/11/24. Current events shape our history for the better if only we are able to recognise them and then vote accordingly.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-jBYwMtNuo
