Our clinic is growing and we are thrilled to welcome Jodie to the Bloom team 🌸
Jodie is a Registered Psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges and transitions. She holds a Master’s-level qualification in Educational and Developmental Psychology from the University of Queensland and brings a neurodiversity-affirming, client-centred approach to her work.
Jodie primarily works with adults and young adults (16 years and over) and has extensive experience providing support across a wide range of areas including anxiety, low mood, stress, grief, and relationship concerns.
Jodie also assists clients navigating life transitions, behavioural change, and vocational challenges such as redundancy or return to work. She values helping individuals build insight, self-acceptance, and resilience, while working towards goals aligned with their personal values.
Jodie is trained in a number of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Gottman Marital Therapy (Level 1). She also provides assessment services for adult Autism and ADHD. Her approach is always personalised — taking into account each client’s unique preferences, experiences, values, and beliefs.
Known for her warm, down-to-earth presence, Jodie enjoys working with a diverse range of clients and is passionate about creating a safe, collaborative space where meaningful growth and change can occur.
