💜Wear Purple Today!💜

Today we recognise Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness, an international day to raise awareness and show support for people living with epilepsy.

In Australia, an estimated 266,000 people are living with epilepsy. By learning more and spreading awareness, we can help create a safer, more inclusive community for everyone.

💜 Wear purple
💜 Start conversations about epilepsy
💜 Educate yourself
💜 Learn seizure first aid
💜Speak up and help reduce stigma

We cannot wait to see everyone in our clinics rocking purple for Purple Day! 💜

Today marks three years since the passing of our colleague and friend, Bree.
As we reflect on Bree's time with us at Optimum Movement, we remember the impact she had on our team and families and the positive energy they brought everyday. Her contributions and presence are still fondly remembered by those of us who had the privilege of working alongside Bree.

We invite you to take a moment today to honor her memory. If you have a favorite story or a special memory of Bree that you would like to share, please feel free to do so.

Bree remain missed, and our thoughts continue to be with her family and friends.s🌻

💙💛 Happy World Down Syndrome Day! 💛💙

Today we celebrate and show appreciation for people with Down Syndrome, while encouraging everyone to learn something new, use your voice, and stand Together Against Loneliness.

This year’s theme highlights the loneliness many people with Down Syndrome experience and reminds us how important connection and inclusion are. Let’s work together to ensure everyone feels valued, heard, and supported in our communities.
