What kind of life is it when you wake up already tense? š¬ I know itās not what Iāve enjoyed in the past.
Before your feet hit the floor, your mind is racing through the to-do list. What needs doing. What you didnāt finish yesterday. Whatās coming next. The day hasnāt even started and your nervous system is already bracing.
That constant edge of stress doesnāt always make you more productive. Often it does the opposite. You either procrastinate because it feels too much, or you push until youāre exhausted. And even when you take time off, even on holidays, you canāt truly switch off. Your body might be resting, but your mind is still working.
And deep down, you know that isnāt healthy. You know itās not the life you actually dreamed of. Even if, on paper, you are living your ādream lifeā š«§
What is a dream life if you can never get off the hamster wheel?
I see this again and again with clients. And Iāve lived it myself. So when I say I get it, I truly do.
But life doesnāt have to feel this way.
You get to wake up feeling focused, not frazzled. You get to feel calm in your body. You get to relax without guilt. You get to switch off without your mind dragging you back to the next thing.
You get to be present.
To be in a sunflower field with disco balls šŖ© & not care what else is on your plate. No overthinking. No overanalysing. Just being there. Laughing. Feeling free. Having fun for the sake of it.
Wouldnāt that be nice? To have more zest in your life? š
