While the government is introducing some changes to the Medicare rebates from 1 November the gap fee (your out-of-pocket expense) will remain unchanged to ensure there is no change to the level of care and service you know and expect from the team at Fulham GP. Flu Vaccination Clinic bookings now open for April - June 2025.

Influenza vaccines will be free only in May and June for persons aged 12 to 64 who are not otherwise eligible for a free influenza vaccine through other programs. Charges apply in April for those not otherwise eligible for a free vaccine.

Clinics available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

Appointments can be by phoning the practice or Online.
If booking Online, select "All Services", then select the appropriate "Flu Vaccine" appointment type.

If you require a longer appointment to address other issues please ring reception to make your appointments.

Free flu vaccinations will be available to all Western Australians over six months of age throughout May and June.

On 1 July 2024, consultation fees at Fulham GP will increase only by the scheduled Medicare Benefit Schedule fee increase (Medicare rebate). There will be no increase to the private gap payment to consultations. As such you may see a small increase to the total fee payable (and also your Medicare rebate received) however your out of pocket cost will remain the same.

Free flu vaccinations are now available for all patients (six-months and older, with valid Medicare Card, during the months of May and June). Please book online into a Flu Vaccination Clinic or phone reception on 9277 8688 to make a booking. Clinic times are now open for the first week of May and there are plenty of bookings available.

Western Australians can get their free influenza vaccine in May and June to help prevent severe illness during winter 2024.

Dr Kim completed his medical degree at UWA and is currently undergoing the post graduate training program in General Practice through the Royal Australian College of GP. The doctors working from Fulham GP are committed to furthering their education to support best clinical care. They regularly attend in-practice teaching sessions as well as external courses, conferences and complete post graduate certificates. As an example, seven of the doctors located at Fulham GP have completed the Diploma of Child Health in paediatrics.

Dr Lem has also recently completed the Professional Certificate of Dermoscopy and Dr St Clair the Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine.

Dr Chappell and Dr Victor Tan were also pleased to attend the World GP Conference held in Sydney this month.
