💜 What is a Nurse Practitioner?

At Clyde North Medical Centre, we’re proud to have Nurse Practitioner Tracey as part of our team.

A Nurse Practitioner is a highly skilled registered nurse who has completed advanced clinical training and a master’s degree, allowing them to assess, diagnose, and manage many health conditions independently.

What Can You See Tracey For?
Tracey can help with a wide range of healthcare needs, including:

🩺 Prescription of medications and repeat scripts

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

We’re encouraging all eligible patients to book their mammogram and stay proactive about their breast health.

If you’re aged 50 to 74, you’re eligible for a free breast screen every 2 years through BreastScreen Victoria.

Speak to your GP for more information or if you have any concerns.

Let’s wear pink, raise awareness, and support each other in the fight against breast cancer 🌸

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Women aged 50 - 74 can arrange a FREE Breast Screen. No referral is needed and it takes only 10 minutes! Women aged 40 - 49 & over 74 can also access this service. Breast Screen Vic recommend this age group to speak to a doctor to see if breast screening is the right option based on overall personal risk.
