Raynor Thomas
Passed away Shepparton Hospital on the 11th of January 2026. Aged 81 years. Dearly loved wife of Laurence (dec) Adored mother of Alison, Andrew and Greg. And their partners Leah and Michelle. Proud Grandma of Emma, Niamh, Scarlett and Declan.

A shining example for us all, forever in our hearts.

A service to celebrate the life of Raynor Thomas will be held at the Cobram Uniting Church, 10 Hay Ave Cobram, on Friday 23rd January 2025 commencing at 11:00am. After which the cortege will leave for the Cobram Lawn Cemetery.

Our hearts are with everyone in the community who was affected by the fires last week, especially those who suffered the loss of homes, farms, and livestock. Husband of Marilyn for 52 years, Father of Kiley (dec), Ben, James and Robert, Father-In-Law to Fiona, Candice and Tanya. Grandfather of Zara, Sadie, Oliver, Chloe, Jack, Wil, Parker and Hudson.

Much loved and will forever be remembered.

The family are very grateful to the staff at Irvin House who provided Andy with amazing care and also shared great humour and connection.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Melinda Jade England, who died peacefully on December 29th, surrounded by love, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Melinda’s husband, Jamie, her twin boys, Jordan and Joshua, and her immediate family during this difficult time.

Funeral Notice: The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Melinda England will be celebrated in St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 4 William St, Cobram on Saturday, 10 January 2026 at 10:30 am, after which the cortege will leave for the Cobram Cemetery. Attendees are asked to wear a touch of purple in memory of Melinda.

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Gregory Bisogni, loving husband of Anne-Maree Bisogni, loving father of Amanda, Melinda, and James, and beloved Nonno of Tiana, Alexis, Mia, and Mitchell. Adored son of Frank and Maria Bisogni (dec.) and stepson of Agnes Matus, cherished brother of John (dec.), Mercedes, and Enzo (dec.), and brother-in-law of Michael Barnett, Donna Drabble, Anthony and Lawrence Brooks. Beloved son-in-law of Gerald (dec.) and Teresa Brooks, and treasured uncle of Arren, James, and Aidan. Wonderful friend of many.

Prayers (Rosary) will be held at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, 4 William Street, Cobram, at 6:30 pm on Sunday, 11 January 2026.
