🐰 One Hoppy, Healthy Bunny! 🩺💚

This adorable hopper has been coming in for her 6-monthly health checks since she was just 7 weeks old! 🐇✨

During her recent visit, Dr Nicole gave her a full nose-to-tail exam, checking her teeth, eyes, ears, lungs, heart, and weight to make sure everything is in tip-top shape. ✅💪

Regular 6-monthly health checks are one of the best ways to keep your bunny healthy. They allow us to track subtle changes early, helping us catch issues before they become serious. 🩷

After a thorough exam, Dr Nicole gave this lovely lady a clean bill of health! 🌟

Routine vet visits are also a great opportunity to ask questions about diet, husbandry, or any concerns you might have. 🥬🐰

✨ Fun fact: The first year of a rabbit’s life is roughly equal to 20 human years, and every year after that equals about 10 human years, meaning your bun ages around 5 human years between each 6-monthly check! 😲

Our Story

The Rabbit Doctors are a team of dedicated Veterinarians and Nurses supported by a large referral hospital in the Melbourne Suburb of Collingwood. Drs Gerry Skinner, Lizzie Selby, Ruby Ivanov, Nicole Su, and Supanee Tan are supported by Rabbit Nurses Dee, Alanna, Claire, and Anthea Woodrow along with a fully equipped 24hour Referral and Intensive Care Hospital. This means we are able to provide around the clock care for your rabbit companions. The Rabbit Doctors are available for both primary and referral consultation at the Centre for Animal Referral and Emergency (CARE) in Collingwood business hours Monday to Friday and selected hours on Saturdays. Housecalls are available by request for vaccinations and general check-ups. All unwell bunnies need to come into the clinic in order for us to provide adequate care.
