A huge shoutout to Harry and his support worker Mitch, alongside their awesome teammates, for an incredible effort at Monday night trivia at the Hoey Moey! 🧠✨

Out of 18 teams, they secured 2nd place and topped the leaderboard for the night! What an achievement! 🙌

Everyone was absolutely stoked with the result, and it’s easy to see why. Nights like these are all about fun, teamwork, building confidence, and being part of the community, and this crew nailed it 💪

🎙️ Behind the Mic Magic 🎶

Support Worker David has been doing an incredible job volunteering at a local radio station, and recently he made the experience even more special by organising for support worker Antony to bring Peter in for a visit during his show.

As you can see from Peter’s smile, he absolutely loved sitting in the hot seat and getting a behind-the-scenes look at how it all works! From the mixing desk to the microphones, it was a fantastic opportunity to try something new, build confidence, and be part of the action.

Moments like these are what it’s all about, creating opportunities, sharing experiences, and making memories together.

Well done David for making this happen, and thanks to Antony for supporting such a great outing 👏

Darryl and his support worker Lisa were keen to get those steps up and add a bit of incline to really get the heart rate going! 💪

They chose beautiful Boambee Headland, taking in the stunning coastal views while enjoying plenty of laughs and great conversation along the way. 🌊☀️

Of course, the incline on the way back had other plans… conversations paused as they powered through and focused on their breathing! 😅

40 minutes of exercise, sunshine, fresh ocean air, and meaningful connection, a fantastic way to spend the day 👏

Our activity space has been full of friendly competition this week, with UNO and Skip-Bo being the most popular games around the table!

We love seeing our participants beating their support workers (in the best way!) during a good game of UNO. It’s even better when the table fills up with multiple players, bringing plenty of laughter, connection and social interaction.
