Our Background

Cosmedicentre is a medical practice that provides cosmetic injectable treatment including anti-wrinkle injections and dermal filler. We are a part of the specialist ophthalmology medical practice Australian Eye Care.

Accordingly, we practice medicine that is fully compliant with guidelines from the New South Wales medical board, AHPRA, TGA and other regulators in a fully equipped specialist medical practice.

We are not a beauty clinic, a day spa, medi-spa or anti-ageing clinic. This means that we do not treat clients, we treat patients. Cosmetic injectables are regulated medicines that can only be prescribed by a doctor after a face-to-face or compliant Telehealth consultation.

Administered professionally these medicines are safe and proven effective treatment. However, like anything in medicine, they do not come with zero risk. As such, Cosmedicentre is part of the cosmetic profession and not part of the cosmetic industry. We do not and will not try to sell you anything. We provide you with the option of a cosmetic medical service if that is in your best interest and your informed decision.

At Cosmedicentre your doctor is specialist ophthalmologist of 20 years Dr Mark Goodrich whose experience is directly relevant to this field. Dr Goodrich has performed over 2000 plastic surgery procedures on the eyelids, eyebrows and cheeks. He directs, delegates specifically to, and oversees your individual treatment plan with registered nurse Signa Furber, who has 23 years of full time experience in the field.

Our Practice Principles

Our aim is to not advertise in the traditional sense. Rather, we see ourselves as cosmetic injectables medical communications. This assists in educating potential patients, helping them to develop realistic expectations.

We assess your medical background and cosmetic concerns to determine if anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers are in your best interest. Sometimes waiting and thinking about it or even choosing not to have cosmetic injectables may be the right decision for you.

We fully explain to you the risks, benefits and options that you have as well as costs. We gain your informed consent prior to treatment and we are available should any concerns arise after treatment.

We safeguard the privacy of your cosmetic medical record and respect your privacy by practicing in a relatively inconspicuous a fully equipped specialist medical practice.
