~ The body never lies ~

The body can serve as a powerful communicator. Our physical reactions are often immediate and instinctual, providing insight into one's emotional state. Paying attention to these physical cues can offer valuable information about our emotional well-being, what and who feels safe? and where to invest our time and energy.

🌿 Does my posture or facial expressions align with what I am truly feeling?

🌿 Do I experience physical sensations, like tension or discomfort?

🌿 When and where do I feel most stressed?

🌿 What are my body’s signals of stress? Do I Fidget? Freeze? Need additional support?

🌿 What does my body do when I feel a sense of safety and security?

Here at the Studio we understand the importance of bridging the connection to the body, as the body is your best and truest guide. Make any last-minute body therapy appointments before the holiday season begins.

It gets better.. with sitting with the self

As the year comes to a close, it's a natural and opportune time for reflection. We invite you to reflect on where you are investing your time and energy and does it aligns with your truest needs and values.

▫️ What are you moving towards?

▫️ Where are you investing your energy?

▫️ Does it align with your values/needs?

▫️ What energises you or do you feel drained?

▫️ Is there a sense of equal give and take?

🟩 Asparagus
How to Incorporate: Steam or grill asparagus as a side dish, add it to salads, or include it in omelettes and stir-fries.

🍌Banana
How to Incorporate: Eat bananas on their own, add slices to yogurt or cereal, or blend them into smoothies for a creamy texture.

🥒Cucumber
How to Incorporate: Enjoy cucumber slices in salads, make cucumber-infused water, or snack on cucumber with a light dip.

🥭Papaya
How to Incorporate: Enjoy fresh papaya as a snack, blend it into smoothies, or add it to fruit salads for a tropical twist.

🌿Peppermint
How to Incorporate: Drink peppermint tea, add fresh peppermint leaves to salads, or use peppermint oil in a diluted form for flavouring water or recipes.

"We're so engaged in doing things to achieve purposes of outer value that we forget that the inner value, the rapture that is associated with being alive"
~ Charlotte Joko Beck, Zen Teacher and Author

In what ways can I strike a balance between pursuing external goals and cultivating a deep appreciation for the present moment?

What moments in my life have brought me a sense of pure joy, or deep contentment? How can I invite more of these moments into my daily experience?

What practices or activities allow me to cultivate a sense of presence and connection with the present moment, rather than being solely focused on future achievements?

How have societal expectations and external pressures influenced my priorities, and in what ways can I recalibrate my focus to align more with my inner values?

How do I define success in my life?
