I'm so excited to have .ultrasound in the office next to mine. What started as a little side project to plan for better pre-surgery planning has blossumed into a complete suite of pregnancy ultrasounds. With decades of experience as sonographers and mums, the team have been through it. With the added back up from obstetricians, midwives, and women's health GPs, Saige Ultrasound ensures that it's more than just good pictures. They bring clinical focus and care to every patient and whilst I hope never to be called in, it's been a rewarding last 6 months to provide point of care to families when the ultrasound is not what you hoped.

Pregnancy is filled with important milestones, and one of the earliest—and most comprehensive—scans now available is the first trimester anatomy ultrasound. Typically performed between 12+5 and 14 weeks gestation, this advanced imaging offers much more than just a glimpse of your baby. It provid...

I am super excited by this new venture with Saige Health & Wellness

Collaborative and integrated care between gynaecologist, specialist women’s GP, ultrasound, and 🤞more to come.

Less than a week to go!

Aaron hardly needs the introduction but with the closing of Women’s Reproductive Care we want you to know will be right here. Still delivering the same care in the same locations…..just in a different practice.

Keep your eyes out as we confirm our house staff and more doctors in the coming weeks.

Whoa 2025 has already started and it's kicking off strong in our little professional neck of the woods. And there's both sad and good so read on.👇👇

Many of you have been wandering about what is happening in and around the practice of Dr Harvey Ward. Sadly Dr Ward has been unwell and been forced to take medical leave with ongoing uncertainty when he will be able return to work. With that he has made the heavy hearted decision to close Womens Reproductive Care at the end of January, with staff and referring GPs being notified this week.

I want to extend my gratitude Dr Harvey Ward and Womens Reproductive Care for providing me a place to consult for the last 6 years. This practice has supported the career start of EVERY SINGLE O&G consultant still practicing in Coffs Harbour. It has been a traumatic time leading to this decision for Harvey and I wish him a speedy recovery.

Now the good news. Although WRC is closing, I'm not going anywhere! Saige Health & Wellness will be taking over that space in February and I am excited to continue consulting with this new practice right from the start up.

I'm sure Saige will be getting out details soon but just quietly, this little practice is going to make some changes how we consider women's health care and 🙂2025 looks super exciting.

For now you can still find me on all the same contacts as channels as before.

Did you know that 70-80% of women will have at least one fibroid in their lifetime?

Often, fibroids are harmless and don’t cause any symptoms—but in some cases, they may impact fertility by:
🟣 Acting like an IUD
🟣 Changing blood flow patterns in the uterus
🟣 Taking up space within the uterine cavity
🟣 Altering the uterine lining, making embryo implantation more challenging.

Dr Budden can assess your concerns and discuss personalised treatment options to support your reproductive health.
