Meet Naomi!

Naomi joined our practice in 2014 when she moved to the area with her family and is now a partner at RJK Optometry. Her background is primarily working in full scope optometry practices but includes working in a behavioural optometry practice with a heavy emphasis on children’s vision and vision therapy and time spent working in clinics with patients with low vision within Vision Australia. In 2015 Naomi completed her Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics and is enjoying being an ophthalmic medicine provider and the increasing challenges this has brought to clinical optometry.

When not at work, Naomi loves walking and swimming at the beach and living a healthy lifestyle.

Meet Michael!

Michael became a partner in the practice with Greg in 2003. Over the years Michael developed a lifelong interest in fitting difficult contact lenses for conditions such as kerataconus and other corneal diseases. He also has a special interest in the treatment of dry eye conditions. He graduated with post graduate qualifications in ocular therapeutics in 2010 and is currently a credentialed optometrist (CO) with CASA.
He previously sat on the board of Optometry NSW/ACT and was also the Deputy Chair of the Optometry Australia board.
He now sits on the board of Provision the largest independent optometry support organisation in Australia.

In his free time Michael looks forward to visiting his son Max who is a Ballet dancer in Europe , and his two daughters Grace and Rosie who live in Sydney. He is also more than happy to chat about his extensive collection of Dr Who memorabilia which he has on display in his consulting room.

Meet Laura!

Laura joined RJK in 2024 after graduating in 2022 from the University of Canberra with a Master of Optometry.

With a solid foundation in full-scope optometry, Laura brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles. She is excited about the evolving challenges in clinical optometry and is committed to delivering exceptional care to her patients.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym and exploring our wonderful beaches.

Meet Patrick!

Pat joined RJK in 2009 after living and practicing Optometry in Queensland and Tasmania, once settled on the Coffs Coast he was able to focus on his area of interest, Children’s Vision and Behavioural Optometry. He completed further post graduate study and recieved his Masters Units in Behavioural Optometry at UNSW at the end of 2012. Pat is a member of the Optometrists Association Australia (OAA) and is also a member of the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO).

Outside of work, Pat enjoys almost any sport, music and reading.
