March is just late February, right? ๐
Here are some belated Valentine's shots that were too good to sit on any longer ๐
Our Valentine's Dinner at The Plantation Hotel was one of those nights that reminded us exactly why we do what we do. 50+ of our clients, support workers, and friends from outside our usual crew, all in one room - smiles, laughs, and a genuinely lovely night.
Being included on Valentine's Day, having somewhere to be and people to share it with, that's not a small thing.
And to top off a beautiful night, one very lucky guest took home a box of chocolates that made his night ๐
Thank you to everyone who came and made it so special.

What do you do when a quiet moment pops up during the day?
Grab a third coffee? โ
Do a little doomscrolling? ๐ฑ
Clean that thing you never think to clean? โ ๐
Today, our support worker Billy put the sunshine - and his smile - to good use and gave our front entry a proper glowโup with the pressure washer.
It's the path our clients, families and community walk every day, and it's looking pretty sharp now!
This is what our team does - they show up, they care, and they go the extra mile. Even when the extra mile comes with a bit of a sweat. ๐
Our Gardening Group is a welcoming space for anyone who enjoys being outdoors, learning simple gardening skills and spending time with others. Whether youโre a seasoned plant lover or just curious to give gardening a go, youโre very welcome - no experience needed, just a willingness to get your hands a little dirty!
Together we look after veggies, herbs and flowers, do a bit of gentle weeding and watering, and enjoy a relaxed chat while we work. Itโs a calm, friendly way to start the day, build confidence, and watch your efforts blossom.
We currently have a few open spots in our Gardening Group as part of the CHSS Day Program.
If you would like to join us - or you support or know someone who would enjoy gardening, friendships and more time outside - weโd love you to grow with us.

With a strong background in systems leadership, recruitment, and even specialist teaching for students with visual impairments, Kenric brings a wealth of experience and a passion for inclusive support.
At CHSS, helping our participants set and achieve their goals is at the heart of what we do. Goals give us direction, purpose, and the chance to celebrate progress, big or small.
As we step into 2026, many of us are thinking about what we want to achieve this year. Whether itโs a personal resolution or a big life goal, every journey starts with a first step - and the right support.
