We’re excited to share that our CEO will be speaking at the upcoming Invox Support at Home National Conference!

This event will bring together experts, providers and sector leaders to focus on what the first phase of Support at Home has taught us - and we’re proud to contribute to that conversation.

Our CEO will be sharing insights we’ve gained during the transition - what has worked, our challenges and how organisations like ours can continue to deliver meaningful, person‑centred support amid significant reforms.

When we openly discuss challenges, successes, and lessons learned, we help build a more informed, resilient, and responsive support ecosystem for the people who rely on it every day.

We’re looking forward to adding our voice to this important national dialogue.

Together, we make choices and decisions that respect individual preferences, identity, and uniqueness. We value the life experiences and strengths each person brings to our organisation and we build on these through genuine partnership. As partners, we recognise that taking some risks is part of living well and navigate the NDIS and aged care systems side by side. We invite ongoing feedback so we can continue improving together. We respect diversity, question our own assumptions, and acknowledge that we don ’t always have all the answers — but we commit to learning with the people we support. We also work in partnership with the wider community by advocating and participating in government and sector consultations to help shape a better NDIS and aged care system for everyone.

At Community Care Options, we don’t operate to make money — our purpose is to provide you with the highest standards of care and to help you make the very best use of your allocated funds.

As a not‑for‑profit organisation, our pricing is designed only to cover essential costs and ensure we remain sustainable for the long term. We are not here to profit from you or your circumstances. Income we receive is reinvested directly into improving our services, supporting participants, and strengthening the community we’ve been part of for decades. This means better resources, better training for our staff, and better outcomes for the people we support.

Your wellbeing, your goals, and your experience are at the centre of what we do.

What sets our team apart?
Our team live locally, work locally and care locally — and that means we are part of the same community as the people we support. We believe that when support comes from people who understand the local area, it builds trust and comfort in a way that can ’t be replicated by distant providers. We don’t just provide support to people; we work with people, drawing on the strengths, knowledge, and insights that come from living in the same community. Our team bring not only their professional skills but also a personal commitment to your wellbeing, shaped by shared experience and real understanding of our community.

Whilst we hope this doesn't happen, as Coffs Coast locals, we know it's best to be prepared! Please use the next couple of days to gather the essentials you need to stay safe – medications, food supplies, charged phone, working torches and a way to monitor the situation such as weather apps, tv or radio.

The Local Difference

At Community Care Options, we work exclusively with the Coffs Coast community.
We work with participants living in the Nambucca, Bellingen, Woolgoolga and Coffs Harbour areas and employ our team directly from these same locations.

Being local means we understand the people, the culture and the unique needs of our region. Decisions are made here, not in a distant head office, so we can respond quickly, personally, and flexibly. This means we know what back roads we can take to get to you during flooding, how long it takes to get from your house to your appointment, how you might be impacted during unexpected disaster events and the importance of being accessible to you if you’d like to chat, face to face. Come in and see us anytime!

📣 Important Announcement: New Aged Care Act and Support at Home Program Begin Tomorrow
We’re entering a new chapter in aged care. Starting 1 November 2025, the new Aged Care Act officially comes into effect, along with the launch of the Support at Home Program.

These reforms mark a significant step forward in improving the quality, flexibility, and transparency of aged care services across Australia. The Support at Home Program replaces the Home Care Packages Program and is designed to better support older people to live independently at home, with care that is timely, tailored, and empowering.

As your trusted not-for-profit provider, Community Care Options will continue to deliver services under the new program. We remain committed to partnering with you—now as your Care Partner—to ensure your care reflects your goals, preferences, and independence.

We’ll be sharing more details soon, but rest assured: we’re here to guide you through the transition and continue providing the high-quality support you deserve.
