Rebalance the vital energy flow in your body. Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body’s subtle energy systems to remove blocks. By breaking through these energetic blocks, the body’s inherent ability to heal itself is stimulated. Donna also incorporates her psychic medium abilities to help you heal.

Qi (pronounced "Chi") means "energy", and Gong means "skill". The Qi, or Chi as it's sometimes written, is our life-force, our aliveness; it is this Qi that digests our food, beats the heart, and makes our hair grow. Think of Qi like water. When it is flowing, it is full of oxygen, cleansing and flushing as it flows. When water sits still, it becomes stagnant, it isn't healthy. When a hose with water passing through is kinked, the flow becomes a trickle. And just as with water, Qi when blocked, creates stagnancy in the body and leads to dis-ease. Qigong movements have been created to stimulate, expand and cleanse the meridian lines and points, these are an invisible network, an energy highway, circulating through the body."

Often my research takes me down rabbit holes! These past few weeks I have been investigating Breast Implant Illness (BII).
Asking my clients if they have implants is now something I will never forget to ask!
If you have breast implants or know of someone who does, you may really want to inform them about this information, as it is not widely known or spoken about.
Recently, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) published a major paper:
“Breast Implant Illness: Symptoms, Outcomes with Explantation and Potential Etiologies — A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis.”
Key conclusions from this review:
• BII presents as a multifaceted condition with a broad range of systemic symptoms
• Symptoms are predominantly musculoskeletal and constitutional
• There is a strong association between breast implants and inflammatory, autoimmune, and microbial responses
• Immune dysregulation, chronic inflammation, and microbial biofilms are central mechanisms
• Psychological symptoms — including anxiety, depression, and somatisation — are common and clinically relevant
• Many individuals experience symptom improvement after explantation
Importantly, this review recognises BII as a real, multifactorial clinical entity, not an imagined or purely psychological condition.
These findings highlight the need for:
• Individualised assessment
• Screening for autoimmune and mental health conditions
• Truly informed consent
• Careful surgical protocols to reduce risk
I also recommend listening to the following podcast for a true life story about breast plant illness and how to go about a removal surgery safely.

The Otway Wellbeing Centre is opening its doors this January 2020! The previous Fusion Healing and Yoga Centre has changed hands and is undergoing bright new changes. Carly Merlo (Naturopath & Yoga Therapist) is the new owner. Upon entering The Otway Wellbeing Centre you will find a unique, tranquil holistic health centre, which offers a range of services and products that will inspire and help you to lead a healthier and happier lifestyle.
Starting the journey towards a healthier lifestyle can be difficult and even harmful without the correct guidance and resources. The Otway Wellbeing Centre solves this problem within the Colac Otway Community by offering a range of superior, personalised services from highly qualified practitioners. This includes; Naturopathic consultations, personal counselling sessions, group and private meditation sessions, Homoeopathic consultations from a highly qualified Homoeopathic practitioner (who also offers Bio-compatibility testing), Bowen therapy, massage therapy, crystal healing, reiki, energy healing, general yoga classes, pregnancy yoga and post natal yoga.
The centre will also offer a range of specialised classes, workshops and other special events throughout the year that all relate to maintaining natural health and wellness. Myself, other practitioners and people from within and outside the community will run these events.
The warm and inviting studio space can be rented out as a space that the community can use to share their love of health and wellness.
Also, The Otway Wellbeing Centre is a Naturopathic Dispensary. The dispensary will allow people to meet with a qualified Naturopath and purchase practitioner only and non practitioner products over the counter for mild, acute conditions that may not require a full consultation, or for repeat prescriptions . A brief consultation can be conducted over the counter and certain products may be dispensed at the discretion of the Naturopath. Otherwise, a full consultation may be required. The Naturopathic dispensary will also stock a range of other health related products that are difficult for the local community to obtain.
Overall, The Otway Wellbeing Centre is designed to share wisdom about how to live in a more natural and holistically healthier manner. The centre is offering and inspiring the local community to learn about their own health and how to enjoy their life in the healthiest way possible.
