We have positions available to start immediately for people wishing to assist an elderly person with shopping, meal preparation, social visits, transport to & from appointments, & social outings. If making everyday life easier for the elderly in our community appeals to you, we offer flexible hours for a healthy work-life balance. You may also be a recent retiree wanting to help someone in your community. We have as little as two hours per week with a regular client. A current driver’s licence & own vehicle are essential. A current Police check will be required (the cost of $48 will be reimbursed after a period of employment with us). A First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain is an advantage. We are able to assist you with local courses available to people working in the aged care industry. Golden Days offers an above award hourly pay rate, plus superannuation. Live on the Northern Beaches?
Leave the worrying up to us. We'll get you where you need to go.
Our caring staff can offer you transport and assistance for your Hospital admissions and discharges or your daily/weekly Radiation, Chemotherapy or Dialysis treatment schedules.
All our hospital and medical transport includes the option of picking up essential supplies and prescriptions on the way home, ensuring you are comfortable and have a meal, and a friendly phone call to check on you the following day.
You can reach us Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm, and yes we are available for those very early morning hospital admissions.

With the Christmas holiday season approaching, borders are reopened and travel restrictions are lifted. Are you concerned about leaving an elderly family member, friend or neighbour alone with limited support?
Golden Days Staff will be working across the entire Christmas period to ensure no one is left home alone. We provide numerous services from assisted shopping and transport to meal preparation, domestic assistance and individual or group social outings.
