iRest Yoga Nidra is a simple and accessible form of meditation designed for modern day living, rooted in the ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra. This secular, step-by-step meditation practice incorporates mindfulness and somatic processes that produce deep relaxation and allow for self-inquiry. Develop a powerful set of tools to elevate your well-being, foster resilience and acceptance in the face of life's experiences.
Research into iRest has shown it to effectively reduce PTSD, insomnia, depression, anxiety and chronic pain whilst increasing resilience, health and wellbeing. Experience more restful sleep, a deeper sense of calm, reduced stress and much more.
Each class is 75 minutes comprising of time to settle in, an introduction to the focus for the evening and a 35-40 minute guided practice, finishing with an opportunity to debrief and chat.
As with any journey towards well-being, regular practice is the essential key to unlocking its full potential. Each week you will receive a recording of the live session and advice on how to work with the protocol to support your practice at home.

Curious about what happens at All Souls Yoga?

Each term, a kind and fun community of people meet in a beautiful space to share a yoga practice together. There are no ‘right’ ways to ‘do’ the yoga, instead we explore movement, breath and meditation in a way that feels right for each of us, as individuals on that day. The term blocks allow time to dive deeper into a theme, to tease it out and deepen our understanding so we can take our knowledge off the mat and into our day to day lives.

I spend many moments in my day landing again and again in the present moment by reconnecting to my senses. I tend to live in my head if I don't. It has taken practice, self-awareness and definitely some self-compassion but there is a lot to be discovered when you meet life in the moment.

Head over to Warriewood SLSC and into the home of Yoga Essentia where you can step onto the mat with Katie and practice to the rhythm and sounds of the ocean. Another stunning location by the water.
