Another empower student led circle today by Keltse.

We were challenged to find a song that resonated within us and within that song find a lyric that reflected and meant something personal to us.

The lyrics and the meanings were emotional, heavy at times and once again these guys showed deep vulnerability by talking about what's real for them and they showed incredible emotional intelligence beyond their years

I'm so very proud of you all and Keltse today particularly for stepping well out of your comfort zone and running this wonderful circle for us

Today's circle was created and run by Costa, he challenged the crew to go out into the community and find 3 things that represented themselves and who they truly are.

The depth of responses was once again beyond their years, beyond many people's emotional intelligence and were of a nature of true vulnerability. This vulnerability is rare in our society, it is often seen as a weakness, but in our eyes it is nothing less than a strength, it takes courage and bravery to express those things that come from deep within our heart spaces

Today with the Grease Monkeys we returned to The 1972 Landie that we were working on last year. With the support of Grant (the owner) we were able to bring David the mechanic in to assist where our skills fell short.

Every now and again we stop by this park on our way to our destination.

Each and every time it is like a journey back to our childhood, big belly laughs, fun and pure joy for every single minute we are there.

How often do you get to spend time with your inner child? Doing those things that your inner child loves ? Perhaps it's time!

The kids just get to be kids, sink into their creative worlds and get to connect with the other beautiful souls around them.

It's such a truly beautiful space that I feel so honoured to be a part of 🙏

Real play

Digital free, outdoors, independence, real connection, meaningful conversation, creative and imaginative games, sand, salt and fresh air.

Each week these incredible kids get to have a day away from there busy lives, their schedules of school and of course away from their screens here at the Clear Skies Project.
