2025 ⚡️🦋🐚

The year that all the hard work, unpaid hours, sacrifices, therapy, self-improvement & fumbling out of my comfort zone came together.

What made a difference was having:
1. more money (yay)
2. better mental health (less self criticism & perfectionism)
3. slowing the fk down & having a full life outside of study/work
4. honestly, I just feel like I started romanticising my life a little bit more & actually started to give myself credit for who I’ve become & everything I’ve achieved instead of being so mean to myself all the time. I’m not saying you can romanticise your way out of things like grief & trauma, but you might be able to romanticise your way out of day-to-day stress & anxiety.

I’ll be carrying these vibes into 2026 - the year of being kinder to ourselves 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

It shouldn’t feel like an intense debate every time you feel hungry or decide to eat. There shouldn’t be a constant flow of conflicting thoughts, questions or stress.

You should just be able to recognise your hunger, decide what you want and eat. And that’s it, just eat.

When food noise consumed my life I dreamt of a day where the voices would go away so I could just eat. No complications, stress, fears or being left unsatisfied. Just eating. I’m there now and it’s legitimately better than I tho gut it would be, pure freedom.
