Once upon a time, a brave and adventurous Australian massage therapist ventured to Vietnam to explore its culture and meet its people. At the same time a Chinese-Canadian school teacher/yoga bum also uprooted her home in Canada to reconnect with her roots in Asia. Their love for well-being, healing and yoga led them to Saigon, Vietnam where they met each other and thus, the birth of saigon om in 2013. Inspired by the transformations from their personal mindfulness practice, Hang and Sarah create heartful offerings to lead others on the path of well-being. Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, each movement supports specific organs and meridians, helping to regulate Qi, calm the nervous system, and cultivate vitality.

This 10-Form Tai Chi course offers a gentle, welcoming introduction to Tai Chi that is accessible, practical, and supportive for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. The short, flowing sequence is easy to learn and designed to build balance, coordination, and calm. Class can be practiced standing or seated, making this course suitable for all abilities, including those with limited mobility, recovering from injury, or simply wanting a softer approach.

NEW ON THE SCHEDULE: 8-Week Tai Chi Course: 10 Forms

This Tai Chi course offers a gentle, welcoming introduction to Tai Chi that is accessible and supportive for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. The short, flowing sequence is easy to learn and designed to build balance, coordination, and calm.

Each class focuses on a short warm up followed by learning a bit of the form and reviewing previous week's forms. We'll be practicing and flowing like a river. Hang will explain simple principles that help the body move with ease and stability.

Class can be practiced standing or seated, making this course suitable for all abilities, including those with limited mobility, recovering from injury, or simply wanting a softer approach. If you'd like a longer warm-up, we suggest attending the Qi Gong course prior to Tai Chi.
