We are sharing this important heatwave advice from NSW Ambulance as hot conditions continue across our region.
Please take care in the heat, stay hydrated, keep cool and check in on vulnerable family members, neighbours and pets.
β οΈ If you or someone you know develops symptoms such as dizziness, confusion, nausea, severe headache or collapse:
π Call 000 immediately in an emergency
π Contact Monaro Medical Practice on 02 8529 8920 to make an appointment
βοΈ Call Healthdirect on 1800 022 222 for 24/7 health advice

Watch and Act β Extreme heatwave: NSW Ambulance has issued a Watch and Act warning for an extreme heatwave from Tuesday 6 January affecting:
β’ Southern Tablelands
β’ South Coast
β’ Snowy Mountains
Temperatures are forecast to rise with the heatwave peaking later this week. Locations likely to be impacted include Batemans Bay, Bega and Goulburn. Start taking action now to protect yourself and your family.
Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if someone shows signs of heatstroke, including:
β’ Seizures or muscle twitching
β’ Confusion or unconsciousness
β’ Lack of sweating
β’ High body temperatures (above 40Β°C)
