CARD FOR THE WEEK: 19-25 OCTOBER 2025
Queen of cups
Hi everyone!
Sorry I missed last week, it was the King of Swords, so if we had good, clear communication, arguments and paranoia, or a wise mentor pop up last week, that’s why! Something came up and before I knew it, I’d run out of week.
This week’s card is late, I was in hospital yesterday and Sunday was prep.
This week’s card is about emotional maturity, nurturing, empathy, self-care, intuition, creativity and emotional expression. Alternatively, it can mean emotional instability, drama, clinginess, self-centeredness, addiction and codependency.
You may find yourself being the compassionate ear for someone who is struggling, or you may be the one struggling who will find a compassionate ear… This will be the week that you or someone you talk to, will need the emotional maturity to listen and not judge as someone’s life may be falling down around them. Grace is important this week, as we find people expressing their emotions. But if they need guidance because their emotional expression is not healthy; this is also the time to set healthy, loving boundaries and guide them along those paths for both your protection and theirs.
This is a great week for taking a little time out for yourself for a treat. Be it a bath or facial treatment, or buying that new outfit, or just having a lay-in. Self care in what ever form, is important!
Are you surrounded by drama? This week you need to address it, and seriously consider if you are the source, or being dragged into others’ drama. Take a step back and refocus accordingly. The same goes for being overly clingy or co-dependant… A quick way to push others away from you is to hold too tightly to them. Take your own steps and discover how empowering and uplifting taking your independence back, really is!
If you’re struggling with addiction, this is the week to seek professional help. First you need to recognise the addiction and then take the steps to heal.
Overall, this week is about loving and caring for yourself and others, but also knowing where to draw the line so you do not deplete yourself. Empathy fatigue is a real thing, and to avoid it, give only what you can spare to uplift others and keep yourself uplifted too!
Have a great week, everyone!
