~Sonita swimming~ I love the sounds of the water and crunching of leaves and sticks - and Valeta asking for some attention too!
-Exercise: after a few deep breaths what sounds and visuals are you noticing? Are there any that you are drawn to that give you feelings of peace, settling, or joy?

~Invitation~ Sonita and Valeta have been inviting me to relax with them at their favourite tree a lot lately. It's summer, it's hot but it's also an offer of inclusively, of respect, trust and connection..they are offering me a space in the herd to sit, breathe, relax and be present.

~It's such an honour when a horse feels safe enough to go into to REM sleep in your presence. They are showing you they trust, feel safe and relaxed with you when at their most vulnerable.

Frazzle is learning fast and very helpful in assisting getting the horses and peacocks feeds ready. He's also very helpful in the orchard. He is our official welcomer when people come to visit Sol Equus.

All the flowers are starting to bloom, the frogs are singing, the ducks are swimming and the horses have some green grass again. What colours and shapes are you noticing with the flowers?

Valeta and Sonita were most concerned to inform me their koala was on the move today

Valeta- yesterday we made a game running around an obstacle course together. Valeta of course is faster than me so after she let me win for some time she changed the rules. When she wins she gets to throw cones and markers! Reminds me of school and making up games as you go along just for the fun of it. For those that have met Valeta you will know how much she loves games, choosing what happens, and kisses!

Sonita invites you to stop ✋️ just for a moment - and just notice - what stands out for you? - For me it's the bright colour of flowers, the different colours of grass and hay, the way Sonita's eye look soft and the way her skin glows a little with shine
