Relaxation Massage - The primary goal of Relaxation Massage is to relax the entire body, increase circulation and ease muscle tension. It includes flowing techniques, kneading & percussion. Remedial Massage - is great for aches and pains. It is a targeted treatment for pain and injury, where we focus on treating certain parts of the body that is dealing with discomfort. The pressure applied can be gentle, shallow or deep depending on the problem. The aim of remedial massage is to decrease levels of physical discomfort and increase range of movement. Ka Huna/Lomi Lomi Massage - I offer this treatment to women only. It is truly nurturing and incorporates beautifully flowing and rhythmic strokes that go from head to toe in a continuous movement massaging both the top, underneath and side of the body. Ka Huna/Lomi Lomi therapists are totally focused on their clients and set an intention of love, harmony and healing in accordance the sacred essence of the Aloha spirit. This beautiful style of massage touches your body, mind and spirit. The Nudity Factor & Ka Huna/Lomi Lomi body Work:

I always strive to make my clients feel comfortable, safe and secure at all times. If you are new to this body work then you may not be familiar with the nudity factor. Traditionally this massage involves the client to be nude, however we still drape over the genitals and they are NOT SEEN OR TOUCHED. While laying face up, draping is not used to cover a women’s breasts. This allows the therapist to massage around the pectoral muscles, sternum and around the lymph nodes. While laying face down, the buttocks is minimally covered which allows the therapist to massage the gluteal muscles and continuously flow from head to toe. If this is out of your comfort zone I am still able to perform the massage by draping over the breasts and/or you can choose to keep your underwear on. Please be aware that some moves cannot be performed with breast draping. If you wish to wear underwear we advise you to bring an old pair with you, as they will get quite oily from the massage. Or you may feel more comfortable with receiving a relaxation massage instead. Either way you will still receive an amazing massage. My Story

My name is Lauren Hart and I love massage therapy! I offer my clients Swedish Massage and Ka Huna Bodywork. I am passionate about achieving overall wellbeing for my clients through touch and mindful connection and I strongly believe massage is essential to a holistic approach to overall health and wellbeing. I began my journey as a Massage Therapist back in 2014, having completed Certificate IV in Massage Therapy (Swedish Massage). I was about to commence studying Remedial Massage when I had my very first Ka Huna massage and there was no turning back! My experience was so profound, this beautiful healing was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I was hooked on Ka Huna bodywork and just had to share this beautiful modality of healing with others. I diverted my attention away from the Remedial world and commenced my journey as a Ka Huna Bodyworker and I have not looked back!

Ka Huna Bodywork is based on massage techniques originating in the South Pacific. It is also known as Hawaiian Temple Style Massage & Lomi Lomi. Ka Huna is a full body massage like no other. It is truly nurturing and incorporates beautifully flowing and rhythmic strokes that go from head to toe in a continuous movement massaging both the top, underneath and side of the body. Ka Huna therapists are totally focused on their clients and set an intention of love, harmony and healing in accordance with the essence of the Aloha Spirit. In Ka Huna, “Hu” means male energy and “na” means female energy. A Ka Huna massage is designed to bring the two internal energies into balance, similar to how traditional Chinese Medicine is designed to balance the yin and the yang.

Before starting the massage session the practitioner may encourage you to talk about physical and emotional reasons for wanting to have a treatment. By doing so it helps me to adjust my treatment to suit your needs before the massage starts.

Ka Huna massage is not only great for easing physical tension, it is said to stimulate some of the human body systems such as the lymphatic, circulatory, respiratory and digestive systems. It is also said to be beneficial for certain emotional problems such as stress, depression, anxiety, grief and exhaustion.
