We had the privilege of visiting Hamlyn Terrace Aged Care Facility with our Mobile Dental Service to provide urgent care for a resident in need.

Although the facility has a dental provider, the treatment required couldn’t be delivered — and that’s when Watagan Dental was called in to help. This is exactly why our mobile service exists: to ensure no one goes without essential dental care simply because access is limited.

Just 12 months ago, we didn’t fully realise how significant the gap in dental access was for our elderly community. Today, we’re humbled to be supporting patients who otherwise may not receive the care they need.

We are incredibly grateful for the trust placed in us and proud to be extending our services beyond the walls of our practice — delivering compassionate, professional care wherever it’s needed most.

🌟 Join us to Celebrate Seniors Week in Lake Macquarie! 🌟

We're excited to be part of this wonderful community event recognising and celebrating the valuable role older adults play in our local area!

Come along for a morning full of connection, fun, and community spirit on Thursday 5th March 2026 from 10am - 1pm at the Bonnells Bay Youth & Community Centre (275 Fishery Point Road, Bonnells Bay).

We'll be running a special Music Therapy session with Tayla Weber – exploring the power of music for wellbeing, connection, and joy! 🎶✨

Coming from a dental family (his dad is a skilled lab tech who's been crafting beautiful smiles behind the scenes for years), Dr. Zach grew up surrounded by the world of dentistry and developed a true passion for helping people feel confident and comfortable with their smiles.

His very first day with us was NON-STOP – packed with appointments, new faces, and lots of care – but even after a busy schedule, he still had that huge, genuine grin at the end of the day. That's just who he is!

Dr. Zach cares passionately about providing gentle, personalized dental care that makes every patient feel at ease and leaves them smiling brighter. Whether it's routine check-ups, cosmetic enhancements, or helping you achieve your dream smile, he's here with enthusiasm, skill, and a big heart.

Our newest patient rocked up demanding premium goat dentistry services. We had to politely explain we're still human-only (for now!).
He gave us a solid 5-bleat review before trotting off. Feedback noted.

🌟Shining a spotlight on something truly special in our community! 🌟

At Watagan Health Hub, we're so proud of our wonderful music therapist who's been heading out to Meals on Wheels Morisset to bring the gift of music to those who need it most.

Many older community members living with dementia and parkinsons can experience isolation, which impacts their overall wellbeing, cognition, and daily function. Through joyful music therapy sessions, our therapist is helping spark social connections, stimulate cognition and support well-being all in a warm, familiar environment alongside the amazing Meals on Wheels team.

It's been fantastic partnering with Meals on Wheels Morisset to deliver this meaningful support right where people are.
