What a week it’s been at Aussies! 🌊💪

Our small team has taken on some of the toughest conditions and gone head-to-head with the best surf lifesavers from across the country. From long drives and early starts to big surf and everything in between, the effort, resilience, and team spirit has been outstanding.

We’ve seen personal bests, breakthrough performances, and plenty of moments that reflect the hard work put in all season. Every competitor has done Copa SLSC proud. 🔴⚪️🔵

A huge congratulations to all our athletes, and a big thank you to our supporters, officials, and volunteers who make it all possible.

// NSW beaches are set to be extremely hazardous from today, with large swell, damaging winds and waves over 5m expected along the coast. Conditions from the Hunter to the South Coast are unsafe for swimming, rock fishing and boating, with risks of coastal erosion and powerful rip currents.

Even once the swell eases, dangerous conditions will continue into the weekend. If beaches are closed, stay out of the water and do not put yourself or our lifesavers at risk.

Stay safe and stay informed.

⚠️ WARNING – LIKELY DANGEROUS SURF CONDITIONS ⚠️

Forecast conditions this weekend, particularly Saturday, are expected to be hazardous.

A powerful SSE swell, long wave period, and early morning high tide may result in large, powerful surf, strong currents, and limited or no safe beach access for lifesavers. These conditions may make rescues unsafe or impossible.

We strongly urge everyone to stay out of the water and off the rockshelf. Stay safe and please don’t take unnecessary risks.

We'll keep you updated on the beach and surf conditions.

Copa, it’s getting a bit much but I’m obsessed with you. My current fave kitchen and crew on the coast. As always a menu packed full of the good stuff, the must have dishes old and new.

Hot tip! Not to brag or anything but last time we were there multiple people told us the Prawn Toast was the best they’d ever had, so idk maybe order it??

Ok love ya’ll. DM to book your table, takeaway and walk-in’s always welcome (it’s our second last Copa pop up of the season, so get your booties down to the surf club).
