We are incredibly proud to share that your local Pharmacist, Michelle has been awarded a scholarship from the WA Department of Health.

Michelle has just started studying at the University of WA 🎓📖 completing the Graduate Certificate in Quality Use of Medicines and Prescribing. This involves 3 days a week study, mostly online, with 4 weeks in Perth and one practical placement week.

This scholarship is a massive vote of confidence in the evolving role of pharmacists in Australia, especially important in rural areas.🇦🇺

It’s recognition that pharmacists play an increasingly valuable role in our health network…delivering accessible, timely, high-quality care right here at home 🐑🚜

All going to plan, the aim is to complete the course by February 2027, when WA legislation changes…further expanding the services Michelle we can provide right here in Corrigin, prescribing medications for 18 more conditions.

We believe our rural communities deserve innovative, high-quality healthcare. We are committed to continually upskilling to make that happen.

They will be at the Corrigin Community Centre car park at 9am to 1pm.

Visit them during this time for all questions regarding Services Australia about NDIS.
