5 Ingredient Thai Style Chicken Meatballs 🙌

These are a staple for a quick mid week dinner in our house.

I love to serve them as pictured with rice and veggies/salad, but they are also great for lunchboxes and as an
on-the-go high protein snack 👏👏

THE BALLS!

👉🏼 500g chicken mince
👉🏼 1 tsp chopped ginger
👉🏼 2 shallots, finely chopped
👉🏼 2 handfuls of fresh coriander, finely chopped
👉🏼 1.5 tbsp fish sauce (you could probably use tamari, but I haven’t tried it).

Mix it all together in a bowl and spin into the air fryer (about 1 tbsp per ball).
Cook for 15mins at 185 C

Enjoy 🤍🤍

Colonics do not make the bowel lazy 👊

During a colonic, we use water and gentle abdominal massage to stimulate peristalsis, the natural wave-like movement that moves stool through the colon.

Strong, regular peristalsis is what keeps the bowel functioning well.

Saying colonics make the bowel lazy is a bit like saying that exercising your legs will make them weaker. Or that lifting weights will make your muscles forget how to work.

The opposite is true. Muscles respond to appropriate stimulation by becoming stronger and more coordinated, and the colon is no different.

What colonics can support is:
👏 improved bowel frequency
👏 better stool quality
👏 more complete emptying
👏the removal of long-standing stagnation.

When the colon is clearing effectively, the overall load on the body reduces, and digestion often works better as a result.

I first suffered with severe constipation in my early postpartum period. It was devastatingly painful & took complete control of my thoughts and body.

Since then, I’ve slowly and naturally healed my gut and no longer suffer with the chronic constipation that I did for years.

The most important thing I did?
Focus on function and routine!!

Here are my top zero cost habits that made the biggest difference ⬇️ (you might not like the last one).

👏 potassium rich foods each day
Potatoes, avocado, bananas, coconut water, cream of tartar, leafy greens
Low potassium = slow sluggish motility.

👏 Closing the eating window after dinner
to allow for a longer fasted period and efficient overnight detoxification.

👏 Avoiding snacking
and instead stabilising blood sugar with well balanced protein & fibre forward meals.

👏 Strengthened my nighttime routine
Less screens, red light, in bed before 9:30pm.

👏 Strengthened my morning routine
Hydrating before caffeinating. Sunlight before screens. Protein forward breakfast.

👏 30g fibre per day
after much trial and error.

👏 Reintroduced quality dairy into my diet
in the form of natural yoghurt.

👏 Daily movement. Walking & running.

👏 Stopped drinking alcohol, entirely.
Alcohol puts additional strain on the liver and disrupts healthy bile production which slows digestion. It also damages the microbiome, hinders hydration & disrupts sleep 🙅‍♀️
