If you’ve had heel pain or plantar fasciitis, you’ve probably heard this before:
“Your fascia is too tight.”
“Your arches are too flat.”
“You need more support.”
So you stretch, ice, roll, tape, rest… maybe even buy orthotics.
And it helps — for a while (or doesnt)
Until it comes back.
Here’s what no one tells you 👇
Your plantar fascia isn’t weak, it’s doing too much.
It’s holding on for dear life because the rest of your system stopped doing its job.
Your feet are designed to feel the ground and to adapt, stabilise, and communicate with everything above them.
When you prop them up with orthotics, keep them in stiff shoes, or only focus on stretching… you disconnect that communication loop.
It’s not about stronger feet.
It’s about smarter feet , feet that can sense, respond, and reconnect to your hips, core, and the ground beneath you.
When your body moves as one system, the fascia stops screaming for help.
Because pain isn’t always a sign of damage , it’s sometimes just your body asking to be heard.
Your feet aren’t broken.
They’re just waiting for permission to do their job again.
