Had the bestest holiday over our favourite long weekend which ended up falling on celebrating the half way mark in our pregnancy. Yay! A much needed trip that felt like pampering, loved our accomodation looking out over the bay and ocean. Such a pretty trip 🫶🏼🐶🙏🏼

Our family is growing and so has my belly! Haha! It’s been so fun experiencing pregnancy and we’re so excited for this new chapter in our lives. We have a baby girl incoming this summer in February 🎉🥰 yay!

It’s a year since we’ve moved across Australia to the east coast! I honestly could choose sooo many photos but I’ve spent too much time scrolling through photos lol there are so many beautiful places here, so many friends made, so many memories. It’s been such an amazing first year, and I think we’re just truly settling in… takes a while when making such a big move!

As I take the train to work and see whales on the trip… I just feel so lucky to live in this magic spot, with a dog, and lots of friends. Such a blessing! 🐶🌺🫶🏼

What’s cookin’ for dinner, good lookin’? 🍽️

In our household, we love switching things up—some nights it’s a cozy curry, other nights it’s a fresh Asian stir-fry, a big Italian-inspired veggie dish, or a hearty salad packed with goodness. We cook at home a lot because it’s healthier, and honestly, nothing beats a homemade meal!

If you’re dealing with a chronic illness like IBS, fibromyalgia, lupus, or any autoimmune condition, what you eat really matters. Here are some simple tips to help support your body:

🌿 Keep it light on fats & animal proteins – Your liver works overtime when you eat heavy fats, meats, dairy, and processed oils. If digestion feels sluggish, bloating happens too often, or energy is low, cutting back on these can make a difference.

🥦 Focus on easy-to-digest, nutrient-packed foods – Leafy greens, fruits, and starchy veggies are all easier on your gut and help your body absorb the nutrients it actually needs.

🍎 More glucose, less stress on your system – Your heart and organs need glucose to function properly. A diet too high in fat can slow down nutrient absorption and thicken your blood, making it harder for your body to work efficiently.

💧 Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate – But remember, if you’re eating a high-fat diet, even drinking lots of water won’t be enough to fully hydrate your body. Keeping fats low helps your body actually use the water you drink!

Eating well doesn’t have to be complicated—just listen to your body, fuel it with the right foods, and give it the chance to heal. 💚

✨ 2021 Me Would Be So Proud ✨
In 2021, I was bedridden with a chronic illness for almost a year. I couldn’t even talk because my brain couldn’t send the messages to my body. It was one of the hardest times of my life, but I believed I could heal.
That belief led me to discover resources as my last resort—and I’m so thankful I didn’t stick to the doctors’ and naturopaths’ paths, which had no answers.
If you’re bedridden or battling a chronic illness right now, I want you to know: healing starts with believing it’s possible. For me, it required a mindset shift. When I first got my diagnosis, I clung to it as my identity because it finally explained why I felt so terrible. But identifying with the diagnosis kept me stuck.
This year, I accomplished something I never thought possible—I moved across the country. That’s no small feat, and 2021 me would be so proud of how far I’ve come.
If you’re feeling stuck right now, I hope this inspires you. You’re capable of so much more than you think. 🫶🏼
