I am shocked and saddened by the news of the passing of a dear friend and female rider who lost her life after a serious motorcycle accident two weeks ago. Goodbye to a wonderful soul, and beautiful lady, Vicki Jaye Dawson. Vicki, you were a wonderful person and friend to so many, and even though we only rode together a handful of times and our catch-ups were only occasional, I admired you and thought of you as a friend. With your infectious personality, loud laugh that was undeniably you, and your big happy wide smile you could light up any room with your presence.
Vicki, you were thoughtful and caring, always ready to help a sister rider. You had your own biker code that you lived and rode by and you walked your talk and spoke your mind. Vicki, you said your bit when it mattered and you didn't back down, nor were you concerned if others liked what you had to say or not. You didn’t like to see a sister rider get left out or left behind and you did whatever you could to make sure they weren’t. No Sister Rider got left out or left behind on Vicki’s watch!
Vicki, my most grateful memory of you was when you were at my side on the footpath in Moruya after my motorbike accident on our return ride to Melbourne, the morning after the W.R.W.R. event that had finished in Sydney the afternoon before. Then again beside me when I was being attended to in the ambulance while waiting for the police to arrive. Your presence in front of me holding my hand and telling me that I’ll be ok, that everything will be ok, was very reassuring and comforting when I was in pain and shock. You showed me then, the true essence of your selflessness and biker-sisterhood-friendship. I will always remember you Vicki as having a larger-than-life personality, a down-to-earth Aussie spirit, and a no-pretenses, take-me-or-leave-me attitude as well as being funny and a bit quirky, with your like-me-as-I-am-or-bugger off attitude. But most of all I'll remember you Vicki as a deeply caring person and friend who was a legend, a badass, leather-clad, lady biker who recently grew her "Angel Riding Wings" while breaking all of our hearts in the process.
Your presence in the biker community was a gift to all, bringing smiles and laughter wherever you went. Vicki you may have only been pint-sized in stature, but your personality and heart were giant-sized, as were your laugh and smile. You were loved and respected by many young and old and your memory will live on in all of our hearts. I will never forget the chats we had, the laughs we shared, and the way you always made me feel welcome, loved, and most importantly your friend, every time we met. I will miss you.
To Vicki's family, friends, and the entire biker community, my deepest and sincerest condolences. May we all find comfort in the cherished memories we shared with Vicki. Ride in peace biker chick. You will be so very sadly and dearly missed, but never, ever forgotten. Ride Free until we meet again. Jillian xo

Hey friends, Introducing a new endeavor of mine called: "Jill's Thoughts and Action Of The Day"
Twice a week here on my page, I'll be sharing Inspirational Memes that I’ve created, If you're interested, read on; if not, feel free to scroll past.
Let’s start with No 1: "Believing in Yourself."
In this meme, I delve into the importance of self-belief. Self-belief in our own abilities, skills, strengths, and talents is about trusting our thoughts and ideas, trusting in and relying on our knowledge, capabilities and skills to tackle the tasks and accomplish the necessary steps required to achieve our goals.
Often, we rely on external validation, seeking others to believe in us. These "others" could be our partners, parents, friends, or even colleagues. Their belief in us can be uplifting and incredibly supportive, boosting our confidence and motivation. However, life can take unexpected turns, and some of these "others" may leave our lives for various reasons, leaving behind a void.
When the validation we once relied upon fades away, our self-belief can diminish. Doubts may creep in, and we start questioning ourselves, eventually losing direction and enthusiasm for what we were once accomplishing with ease. This is where the concept of "Believing in Yourself" becomes so important.
Believing in oneself isn’t easy, but it is essential and worth developing and strengthening within ourselves if we want to bring our ideas to life and achieve our dreams.
Having self-belief empowers us to stop procrastinating and tackle tasks, or projects we’ve been putting off. It’s about trusting ourselves that we possess the knowledge, skill, patience, perseverance and endurance required to accomplish whatever we focus on.
Self-belief is like having a trusted companion, encouraging you forward and always cheering you on.
Believing in yourself is a powerful tool for personal growth and achievement try to embrace it, nurture it, and let it empower you on your journey today.

To my beautiful child who grew your wings and climbed up heavens stair

Not sure the Universe got it right or if it was very fair

I miss you so much it hurts my heart and my eyes always fill with tears

And I understand I must roam this world for many months, maybe many years.

But I will always be your mum, you chose me from the start.

Your time with me was not long enough, when you left you broke my heart

But how lucky am I you chose to be my child for as long as you could

But Mothers day it hurts in a way that this day never should .

So my spirit child, I love you so and I forever will and when the universe calls me home, I hope I have fulfilled

Any unfinished dreams, any wishes you had and I hope the world can see, how much I learned from the short time we had and how strong you made me be.
