Enablement Services

Enablement Services provides supports to clients 7 days per week in Cowra & surrounding areas

Enablement was established by Diane Graham, who has 12 years’ experience co-ordinating a disability service in the Cowra community. Enablement will work with clients, families, carers and other stakeholders to achieve goal focused outcomes. Diane is passionate, motivated, and committed to providing a quality service that promotes clients’ individual choice.

We're thrilled to share that our participants had a successful morning at the Cowra Community Markets! They worked tirelessly to create beautiful handmade goods, and we're delighted that the community came out to support them.

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff who volunteered their time to help make this happen, and to the Cowra community for welcoming us with open arms. Your support means the world to our participants, and we're grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful community.

We're looking forward to attending the markets again one day soon and continuing to build connections and opportunities for our participants.

From casting a line out fishing, ironing clothes, and exploring tools, to painting bird boxes, metal detecting, and shooting hoops at the park — it’s all about building skills, confidence, and independence.
These everyday adventures support meaningful NDIS goals like community participation, life skills development, and personal growth. And let’s be honest… boys will be boys! 😄

🎃👻 Spooky Fun with Our NDIS Participants! 👻🎃
Trick or treating was a blast this year! Our participants had a frightfully good time exploring the neighbourhood, enjoying the spooky vibes, and admiring all the amazing house displays. 🏠🕸️🧛‍♂️
It was more than just fun — it was a great way to support NDIS goals like community participation, social interaction, and building confidence. Plus, who doesn’t love a bit of Halloween magic? 🍬🧙‍♀️
Thanks to everyone who made the night so special — we’re already looking forward to next year!

Cowra Spring Show

Participants had a fantastic time at the Cowra Spring Show! The event was filled with excitement as attendees enjoyed thrilling rides, showcased their creativity in arts and crafts, and baked up a storm and decorated patty cakes. The atmosphere was buzzing with fun and community spirit. Some lucky participants even walked away with prizes, making the day even more memorable!

💃🎆Enablement Services Participants Shine at ABBA Tribute Show in Bathurst! 🎆💃

On Saturday, our NDIS participants and staff attended the spectacular ABBA Lanche Tribute Show in Bathurst and dinner at Bathurst Panthers — and what a night it was! The energy was electric as everyone sang along to timeless hits and danced the night away.

A special highlight of the evening was our very own dancing queen, staff member Julie, who lit up the stage with her moves and was crowned with a well-deserved Dancing Queen crown! Her enthusiasm and spirit truly embodied the joy of the night.👩‍🎤💃

🪴 Building Skills & Confidence at Cowra Men’s Shed! 🔨

We’re so proud of one of our participants Michael who’s been working step-by-step with his support workers to build a planter box — using the fantastic facilities at the Cowra Men’s Shed!
This hands-on project is helping him:
✅ Learn new practical skills
✅ Build confidence and independence
✅ Improve fine motor coordination
✅ Engage with the local community
✅ Work towards his NDIS goals in a meaningful way

It’s amazing to see the joy and pride that comes from creating something with your own hands — and even better when it’s done in a supportive, inclusive environment.
