🎩🐎 Melbourne Cup Day at The Hub! 🌸🏇

Our participants and staff came together to celebrate Melbourne Cup Day in true style — with great company, delicious food, fun games, plenty of laughter, and of course, a few friendly sweeps.

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day such a memorable one. 🏇🐴

Our participants and staff had an amazing Fun Friday filled with frightful fun, spooky smiles, and Halloween magic! 🧙‍♀️🕸️🕷️ A massive thank you to the team who provided such a magical day 🪄✨️

The celebration doesn’t stop there — we’re open tonight from 6pm until the lollies vanish into thin air! 🍬🍭

What a fun weekend 😀

Our participants had an amazing time at the Cowra Show over the weekend, enjoying the dodgem cars, listening to live music, checking out the local fire truck, the stalls in the pavilion and meeting the friendly animals at the nursery. 🚒🎡🐑

They also showed off their incredible creative talents in the craft competitions - taking home First Prize and Highly Commended awards. 🏆🎨👏

We’re so proud of their achievements - well done to all involved. 💙🧡

Our staff took part in a First Aid training course yesterday to refresh their skills and ensure we’re always ready to keep our participants safe and supported. Thank you to our trainer Sam and well done to our team 💙🧡

Today we celebrate Kristy Pollard, who has been part of the Ability Network family for an incredible 15 years.

Kristy’s commitment and compassion have been instrumental in shaping the services and supports we provide today. From her early days with the team, Kristy has been a valued staff member who goes above and beyond to support participants, continuing to make a lasting difference in the lives of so many.

Thank you Kristy, for your loyalty, hard work, and the heart you bring to everything you do. We are so grateful to have you as part of our Ability Network team.

We love being part of our Cowra community!

Our staff and participants enjoy volunteering with Meals on Wheels, lending a hand to support local residents. Our participants have also been out and about - enjoying the Emma Butler Memorial Wrestling Show, a few friendly games at the Cowra Bowling Club, and peaceful moments at the Japanese Garden.

At Ability Network, community connection is important to us. We’re proud to be active members of our community. 💙🧡
