Today we recognise International Day of People with Disability.
Held each year on 3 December, this important day promotes awareness, understanding, and inclusion for people with disability across the world.

The 2025 theme "Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress" highlights the importance of building disability-inclusive communities that support equal participation and social progress for everyone.

It’s a meaningful reminder for all of us whether it is our workplaces, community groups, families, and individuals to reflect on how we can remove barriers, celebrate strengths, and create a more inclusive future.

Our participants and staff enjoyed a full day of adventure in Canberra - from high-energy Go Karts, the excitement of the Reptile Zoo, and the fun of Jungle Golf, to wandering through the miniature world of Cockington Green. 🏎️⛳🏘️

It was a day filled with laughter, discovery, and shared memories — the perfect way to celebrate a wonderful year together. 💙🧡

At Ability Network, our services extend far beyond traditional supports - we’re all about connection, experiences, and being part of our amazing community!

Over the past couple of weeks, our participants have been out and about enjoying:

• 🎳 Tenpin bowling and building great skills (and plenty of laughs!)
• 🎤 A fantastic evening out with Tania Kernaghan and Jason Owen
• 🏊‍♂️ Relaxing visits to the pool, and gardens to stay active and have fun

We love seeing our participants grow, connect, and make memories. Community engagement is at the heart of what we do. 💙

Our participants and staff had an amazing Fun Friday filled with frightful fun, spooky smiles, and Halloween magic! 🧙‍♀️🕸️🕷️ A massive thank you to the team who provided such a magical day 🪄✨️

The celebration doesn’t stop there — we’re open tonight from 6pm until the lollies vanish into thin air! 🍬🍭
