🎉 What we’ve been up to at Ability Network - what a start of 2026! 🎉

We’ve kicked off the year with fun, friends, and fantastic activities:

Fun Fridays – From pool fun, board games, and exciting challenges, smiles and creativity

Buffet Club – Great food, company and a big congratulations to some lucky winners

MasterChef cooking, collecting fresh eggs and even tackling some metalwork projects

We have also included some pics of a special birthday plus from a fun day out at Carcoar Dam filled with laughter, adventure, fishing and amazing memories

🎄✨ As we approach the end of the year and look forward to Christmas, we take a moment to reflect on the past 12 months at Ability Network. It’s been a year of growth, learning, connection, and incredible moments shared with our participants, families, and dedicated staff. From everyday achievements to big milestones, we’ve seen courage, kindness, and community shine through in so many ways.

We are so grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey this year. Thank you for trusting us, supporting one another, and helping make Ability Network such a special place. Wishing you all a joyful Christmas and a safe, healthy & happy New Year. 🎄❤️

💚✨ Our Grinchmas Social Night brought out everyone’s inner Grinch! Participants and staff had a blast “undecorating” the Christmas tree, racing to stack presents, pinning hearts on the Grinch, and showing off their Whoville trivia skills. The room was filled with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of Christmas cheer — Grinch-style! A big thank you to the team who create these fun social nights and of course to our wonderful Grinch🎄🎁

🌱🥕 Fresh from the farm! One of our participants is proudly holding a plate of fresh vegetables straight from our garden, along with fresh eggs from our chickens. 🥚🍅

Our space at Ability Network isn’t just a garden and farm — it’s a place full of learning, life skills, and opportunities. Moments like these are some of our favourites, seeing the smiles and pride as participants achieve something with their own hands. 💚

It’s amazing to see independence, confidence, and joy grow alongside our gardens! 🌿✨

🎄✨ What a magical night! Last night our participants and staff headed out to enjoy the beautiful Christmas lights around our community. It was a great chance to get out together, soak up the festive spirit, and make special memories. ✨🎄

Last night some of our participants enjoyed a fantastic festive evening at Club Cowra. It was an awesome night filled with great food, lots of dancing, plenty of laughs, and wonderful company. We even met one of Santa’s helpers, bringing extra Christmas spirit to the night! 🎅🎄✨

A special mention to Donna, who looked absolutely gorgeous in pink and enjoyed a beautiful evening watching her favourites Shane Kerr and Lusi Austin perform 🩷

🎉 Staff Christmas Party 2025 – A Night of Fun, Laughter & Celebration! 🎉

What a fantastic evening filled with fun, laughter, and festive cheer! From sombreros to a lively conga line, and a delicious Mexican-inspired feast prepared by Angela McCormick, a wonderful time was had by all. A huge shout-out to all involved for all the behind-the-scenes planning and preparation, that made this night so memorable.

Our Staff Christmas Party is a special tradition where our leadership team recognises our staff, celebrating the incredible work, dedication, and commitment they bring to Ability Network every day. It’s a time to say thank you and to embrace the joy of the season together. 💙🧡

As part of the evening, we highlighted the amazing work our team does every day – we congratulated our Employees of the Month from across the year and proudly announced our Employee of the Year, Nicole Saxby, in recognition of her outstanding dedication, teamwork, and support for our participants. 🌟

We also had best dressed prizes to add a little extra fun and festive flair to the night!

A huge thank you to Cowra Rugby Club for providing the venue and helping make the celebration even more special.

Thank you again to all staff and their partners who attended - your energy, smiles, and laughter made this celebration truly unforgettable.
