We are looking for a Community Nurse (RN) to join our team to provide in-home nursing services to our consumers. As a Community Nurse you will be responsible for providing a wide range of clinical services to our customers with both low and high care/complex needs.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Medication administration
• Chronic wound care and management
• Conducting nursing assessments and developing care / support plans
• Demonstrated knowledge or (willingness to learn) in all aspects of catheter care and catheter changes.
• providing clinical support to the office team
• providing support to the care workers.
About YOU:
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
• Current Right to Work (provide evidence if applicable)
• Current police check
• NDIS worker screening check
• Current Australian driver’s license (full and no restrictions)
• Own a fully maintained, registered, and insured vehicle.
• Willingness to travel - Role does involve driving and travel between service users and areas as required
• Experience in a community nursing or similar setting desirable
• COVID 19 Vaccinations (including Booster) certification
• Ability to work independently

Short Term Accommodation (STA) funding cannot be used to take a holiday. It is available so a participant and their carer(s) can have mutually beneficial time apart.

Help us to protect NDIS funds by reporting any suspicious behaviour and stop non-compliant behaviour before it hurts others.

If you see advertising about STA, respite and/or holidays that does not look right, (for example, bundles that include flights and accommodation for family or friends) you can report it to us for investigation.
