🔥 Struggling with sharp pain, tingling, or numbness running down your leg?
You might be dealing with sciatica — irritation of the sciatic nerve, the longest nerve in your body.

✅ Common symptoms:
• Shooting pain from the lower back or buttock down the leg
• Tingling, numbness, or weakness
• Pain that worsens with sitting or bending

💡 How physio helps:
Our physiotherapists assess the root cause whether it’s from a disc, tight muscles, or posture and design a treatment plan including:
• Targeted exercises to relieve pressure on the nerve
• Manual therapy to ease tension
• Posture and movement education to prevent flare-ups

👣 Don’t let nerve pain hold you back — movement is medicine!

🏋️‍♀️ How many times should you exercise per week?

For most people, aiming for 3–5 sessions each week is ideal for building strength, improving mobility, and supporting recovery — especially when guided by your physio plan.

But remember rest is just as important as exercise. 💤
Your body needs time to repair, rebuild, and adapt so you can come back stronger and reduce your risk of injury.

At Keep in Motion Physio, we’ll help you find the right balance between training, recovery, and rest so you can keep moving well for life.

👉 Book your session today with Keep in Motion Physio and make every workout (and rest day) count.

Heat or Cold? 🤔🔥❄️
Knowing when to use heat or cold can make a big difference in your recovery!

💧 Cold Therapy (Ice): Best within the first 24–72 hours after an injury. It reduces inflammation, swelling, and numbs pain. Think sprains, bruises, or acute injuries.
➡️ "Fresh injury? Go cold."

🔥 Heat Therapy: Great for chronic pain or tight muscles. It increases blood flow and relaxes tissues—perfect before stretching or rehab exercises.
➡️ "Stiff or sore? Go warm."

⚠️ Pro tip: Never apply either for more than 20 mins at a time, and always use a barrier between your skin and the heat/ice pack!
