At Atypical Solutions, we’re not your standard provider — and we’re not looking for standard support workers.

We’re growing, and we’re on the lookout for passionate, experienced support workers who genuinely care about making a difference across a range of settings.

About the Role:
You’ll be supporting participants across:
🌿 In-home supports
🌏 Community access shifts
🐐 Farm-based programs at our Cranbourne South property

This role includes participant pick-up across the Mornington Peninsula and transport to and from our farm — so a willingness to travel is essential.

About You:
✔ Minimum 2 years experience in the disability sector
✔ Confident supporting participants with behaviours of concern and/or complex communication needs
✔ Auslan skills highly valued (or a genuine willingness to learn)
✔ Hold all relevant industry checks & clearances
✔ Driver’s licence & reliable car essential
✔ Values-led, compassionate, and aligned with person-centred
✔ Available before & after school hours & Saturdays

At Atypical Solutions, we’re proud to stand with the Deaf community and advocate for a world where communication is accessible to everyone.

Today, we’re asking all Australians to put their hands up for Auslan 🙌🏼 — not just as a gesture, but as a commitment.

A commitment to:
✨ Start the conversation
✨ Learn, even when it feels unfamiliar
✨ Be the person who makes space for inclusion
✨ Ensure every individual is seen, heard, and valued exactly as they are

Because inclusion doesn’t just happen — it starts with us.

💡 Did you know?
• 1 in 5 Australians are impacted by Deafness or hearing-related conditions
• Over 16,000 people use Auslan as their first language
• Yet there are fewer than 800 qualified Auslan interpreters nationwide

That gap means too many people are still left out of everyday conversations, opportunities, and connections.

At Atypical, we believe communication is a basic human right — and Auslan is a vital part of that.
