Meet Our House Leader Keely! She’s the heart of the SIL house, ensuring everything runs smoothly and that participants feel supported and happy every day. Keely also plays a vital role in supporting the staff, organizing rosters, and stepping in when complex situations arise. She always keeps a positive and encouraging vibe, reminding everyone of the incredible impact they’re making in people’s lives.
Keely possesses extensive knowledge of the operations required to effectively run and maintain a SIL (Supported Independent Living) house. As a SIL house leader, she is responsible for overseeing daily life assistance, promoting community participation, supporting mobility transfers, and facilitating communication and transport, all in accordance with NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) standards and disability care best practices.
Keely loves her job because it’s so rewarding—every day is different, and she gets to witness both participants and staff grow and achieve their goals. Keely enjoys cooking, riding her motorbike, and spending time with her pets and family outside of her busy work life.
