This framework guides everything we do as we support our participants to achieve their goals, whether they are big or small, personal goals or NDIS goals. At High Hopes Services, we believe in doing good for good’s sake.

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, your responsibilities may vary depending on participant needs and suitability of match, and may include:
• Person-centred daily support
• Personal care
• High-intensity supports
• Palliative care
• Supporting non-verbal participants
• BOC (Behaviour of Concern) support
• Community access and skill development
• Supporting participants to work towards their personal and NDIS goals

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
• NDIS Screening Check
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Check
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable car

Qualifications & Experience
• Qualifications in Disability, Nursing, Community Services, or related fields are highly regarded
• Lived experience is also strongly valued, we recognise the value of empathy, understanding, and real-world experience

🎉 Congratulations to Our Amazing Participants & Support Workers! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating two incredible participants, Mehdi and John, along with their dedicated support workers, Mehdi R. and Brianna, who are also our Monthly Gift Voucher Winners at High Hopes Services! 🌟

💙 John & Brianna
John has been working towards getting out into the community more, trying new things, and stepping outside his comfort zone, and he’s been absolutely shining!

Even though Briana is fairly new to his team, she has already made a huge impact. She continues to empower John, encourage his independence, and support him emotionally as he embraces new experiences.

Participant Mehdi has been with us for a long time, and this month we’re so proud to highlight the incredible progress he continues to make.

Support worker Mehdi R. has been consistently supporting him, helping him stay active at the gym, assisting with errands, and ensuring he can keep contributing to his family in meaningful ways.
Their strong working relationship reflects dedication, patience, and genuine care.

We’re officially in the Christmas spirit here at High Hopes Services! Our team has been busy decorating and spreading festive cheer throughout the office. 🎅🌟

We love creating a warm, joyful space for our participants, families, and community — and we hope this little video of our decorations brings a smile to your face.

Halloween Fun at High Hopes HQ!

We had an amazing time on Friday celebrating Halloween with so many of our participants joining in for trick-or-treating at the office!

We are so proud of how wonderfully everyone got into the spirit of the day — dressing up, embracing their characters, and enjoying themselves to the fullest. It was fantastic to see participants connecting with each other, making new friends, and celebrating together in such a fun and inclusive way.

A huge thank you to all the support workers who helped participants choose their costumes, get involved, and create such a welcoming and joyful environment. Your encouragement and support made this day extra special for everyone!

We can’t wait to have more fun events like this and keep celebrating moments of joy, creativity, and community together.

This Month’s Photo Winners & Celebrating Independence!

We’re thrilled to share some incredible moments and achievements from our participants and their dedicated support workers!

Debbie has made amazing progress towards independence at home, confidently preparing her own meals. A big thank you to her support worker Pacifica for her encouragement and dedication.

Sam is learning to feed himself independently, building confidence and self-sufficiency every day with the guidance of Jasmine.

We also want to recognize Rida, whose photo beautifully captured the importance of family connections, and Mehdi, for supporting participants in developing routines, life skills, and independence.

Congratulations to Debbie, Sam, Henry, and Michael, and a special shout-out to Pacifica, Jasmine, Rida, and Mehdi — you are this month’s photo winners! Thank you for inspiring us all with your hard work, care, and dedication. 💛
